"Happy summer!" Spike said, hugging Emma who came back up the stairs from her room. Emma rolled her eyes smiling, what a weird thing to say.

Snake came in to the kitchen area too and asked Emma, "Where you going all dressed nice?"

Emma looked down at her nice black skirt and white tank top, her hair was also curled if you were curious. Her hair wasn't so blonde anymore, it was a tanned brown color, looked rather nice on her and her eyes popped with it, but it wasn't her usual admirable blonde.

"I'm going to go try to get a job for the summer." Emma admitted with a frown, "At the Dot or the mall.." she tightened her jaw, wishing there was more options.

So to say life wasn't going the way she planned was a complete understatement. Manny was gone to Hollywood, and even Jay who she was still long distance dating was doing good. He still worked at the same garage he and Sea- Emma shook her head, not wanting to finish that sentence and think about things and people who have been gone out of her life and just didn't, couldn't, matter to her anymore.

Anyways.. Liberty was going away this summer, I guess she deserved it. She was getting a big break and going away to Hawaii so this left Emma.. pretty alone.

"See you later." Emma sighed, grabbing her purse.

MEANWHILE...

Spinner cringed, laying on a fold up bed in a tattoo shop with Jane to his right, getting tattooed at the same time. "Well," he spat out in pain, "This isn't too bad." he tried to say.

Jane giggled, and the sound of needle guns tattooing them were heard. She got a lock, and he got a key tattooed on his back. I don't know, it was her idea.. I guess since not being able to tell Spin about Declan, she thought this was the best way to explain how much she loved him. Tattoos were forever right? Like they should be.

"I got a letter.." she finally blurted out and handed him the envelope with the letter in it.

Spinner opened it and as he got tattooed, he didn't know what hurt worse..that, or the fact he had no idea where this college even was. "You got into Stamford.. where is Stamford?" he asked.

She frowned, but tried to bare a smile, "It's a scholarship Spinner, it's an amazing opportunity." He shook his head, not being able to look at her. She went on, "It's far but..there's holidays and reading weeks, the least we wouldn't see another is like.. two months!"

Spinner couldn't believe this, she had been changing so much lately and when they do something so intimate like this, she springs this upon him!? What was the matter with her?!

"Stop, just stop." Spinner snapped at the tattoo artist and grabbed his shirt, getting out of there.

Jane blinked and wondered why he ran off, and sat up in utter confusion. Later that day, Jane sat in her assigned chair for graduation. Her friends sat also around her wearing the same royal blue graduation cape and hat.

"H-hey." she stuttered to Danny, noticing Spinner not here for her graduation either. He must be really upset. He knew this was important to her though. "Have you guys seen Spinner?"

Danny looked over and shrugged, "Probably got busy at the Dot."

THE DOT

Spinner was turned around, leaning on his counter as Jay checked out the half finished tattoo. Spinner was in such a rush to get out of there he didn't even finish it

"Good job man. Did it hurt?" Jay laughed, shaking his head that Spinner had half a key tattooed on himself. Classic.

"Not as much as Jane telling me she was moving away and made the plans without me." Spinner snapped and turned back around to Jay.

"Man." Jay said, slapping his chest, "Just stick around for her.."

"What if she cheats on me? Meets another guy while she's away?" Spinner asked, not understanding she's already done that- cheating on him, with Declan.

Jay shrugged, "I don't know man, if you feel you can't trust her, let her go. But if she's worth it? It's worth it." Jay admitted, loving every time Manny came home to him. He smirked, "And trust me.. the lack of youknowwhat gets the girl QUITE happy to see you when she gets home." he chuckled.

Spinner leaned forward on the Dot's counter, wondering if he could trust Jane. It was a good brain turner.. Sometimes, Jay really knew what to say. Even if he said it in a fucked up way.

Jay's eyes caught something passing by the Dot's window and he rolled his head back, grinning like an idiot, pointing at the door that opened next. It dinged, and as the figure Jay looked at came in, Jay pointed at him while adding to Spinner, "Or you can leave her here, come back, and see if she's moved on. Right Cam?"

Sean Cameron stood there, a small smirk on his lips, his hair grown back out and biceps as good as they looked when he left. "Hey guys."

Jay stood up from his chair, embracing his old best friend into a manly hug and Spinner shook his head smiling, "Dude!" he exclaimed, walking around the counter and doing the same. Sean pulled away.

"So what's new?" Sean breathed, "What were you saying?"

Jay smirked, "Oh nothin." he lied. We all knew he was pointing out the fact Sean was probably 'secretly' home for Emma. Again.

Sean just snickered and ran his hand through his hair taking a deep breath as Spinner shrugged and said, "Screw it, Sean Cameron's back home and this is an excuse for a party! Hell with the girls!" he exclaimed.

They laughed but Jay mouthed 'no' to Sean, shaking his head. There was NEVER enough girls.

Spinner and Jay began to talk, catching Sean up on what was going on. Slowly, Sean's smile turned into a frown, glancing out the window. He wondered where Emma was and if she was still around home this summer. He needed to see her, even if they had said they 'moved ' on, but that was just the easy way out.. lying to her. He knew the distance thing wasn't working for them, and he didn't want her worrying about him while in the army or him to worry about her when he should focus on himself in the middle of a war.

He wondered if she was still seeing that guy too, Damien.. or any guy for that matter. When she told him she was seeing somebody, it made it easier to tell her all those lies about moving on as well. He thought it was for the better, but the pain of losing her and missing her ate up at him. It would of been selfish to tell her to wait for him though but after they had officially broken up, he wished he had.

He had no idea how to tell her he was back home, for good.

((((**))))

"Really needed boy time, guys." Spinner declared a few hours later, sitting with Sean and Jay in Jay's apartment.

Sean was staying with Jay for now, til he figured things out. He was completely done with the army, and he was really wanting to start building his own garage he talked about before. Here in Toronto.. but first he needed the love of his life back, his first love, his only. Or he'd build the shop somewhere else..because there would be too many memories here-

"Cameron!" Jay yelled, snapping him out of it and Sean blinked. Jay gave him a look, he said his name about three times. Jay then rolled his eyes and sighed. "Oh I know what's got you distracted."

Sean looked away, holding the beer bottle in his hand tighter and swallowed nervously. Spinner looked confused, til he chuckled and nodded, "Oh yeah he's got that look on his face."

"I don't have a look." snapped Sean.

"It's the 'I'm nothing without Greenpeace' face." Jay informed, laughing at Sean's glare. Sean smirked though, he couldn't help it, they were right..and he hadn't heard Jay call Emma Greenpeace in a while...ah.. it was good to be home.

The Next Day..

Spinner was at the Dot again was doing an interview with a girl named Jenna. She finished explaining her hobby's, "I also love animals! And I've helped volunteer at the shelter before..."

Spinner gave her a wierd look, "Yea.." he drifted, "But have you served food before?"

She smiled weakily. That'd be a no. Spinner sighed, finding a new employee for summer help was getting hard. He had help from Holly J, but that was really it.

"Ok.. I will.. let you know.. Jenna." he said awkwardly, knowing he wouldn't call her, and as she left, Jane came in.

"Hey." she said, trying to smile and tilted her head, "You didn't come yesterday to Graduation."

"Yea." he coughed, "I got busy."

"Too busy for my graduation?" Jane asked, not understanding that and he looked away.

"Friend of mine came home from the army" he explained and she parted her mouth a little stunned. He nodded and asked, "What are you doing here?"

She frowned, noticing his attitude. He was still pissed. She sucked in a breath and teased, "Came to make sure you didn't hire a bimbo."

The door opened again and Spinner had to grin as he noticed the familiar blonde walk over to them, "Emma Nelson!" he announced.

Emma carried his 'hire' sign from the front door, "Are you possibly.. still looking?" she asked hopefully. Spinner raised his eyebrows and happily glanced at Jane.

Jane praised her hands toward Emma, "Voila." she declared. A new waitress! Emma would be perfect.

Spinner chuckled but shook his head, "Wait, do you even know how to serve? Or even work the coffee machines?"

"Trust me." Emma said walking around the counter and making herself comfortable. Hey! She'd basically grown up in this diner too you know? "1 for cap, red button for milk, 2 for coffee." she said, pointing at everything.

Spinner happily noted, "You're hired."

Jane gasped happily and turned to Spinner, putting her hands on his shoulders, "Now about that party at Declans.."

Spinner cringed, and glanced at Emma behind Jane, "Actually. .I got this other party to go to."

Emma leaned on the counter, and even noticed the tension and tried not to listen, but Spinner made it hard by looking so suspiciously at her. What? Did she have something on her face?

"What other party?" snapped Jane, crossing her arms.

"A Welcome home party!" Spinner informed, trying to smile at her, "For that FRIEND I was telling you about." he tried to explain without Jane asking him more questions and tried to give her a look to shut up. Emma couldn't know.

"The one from the army?"

Emma shot up so fast, her elbow hit the coffee maker right beside her, and it went crashing down and Spinner cringed, Jane jumped and all the customers turned to look.

"And that was the only thing you knew how to work." Spinner tried to joke. Emma just bluntly stared at the mess, and in disbelief at him. SEAN WAS HOME?! And nobody told her... "Jobs yours!" Spinner said, picking up a shirt on the counter and throwing it at Emma, trying to make her think of something else and quickly turned to Jane, "That pool party? I think I have a few hours to spare.."

Spinner wanted to get the hell out of there, and not get blamed for letting the big cat out of the bag. Jane happily took his hand, waving to Emma, and they left. Emma shook her head, trying to come to terms with this, and found her heart beating faster and faster. He was home. Sean was home.

(((*))) Meanwhile..

"You want your job back, huh?" Tony asked Sean, standing at the front of the auto shop and eyed him closely, glaring, but having to admit, the guy was great at cars.

Jay stood with them, nervously looking between and insisted, "He's a God with the engine." he reminded his boss.

Sean clenched his jaw, trying to remain nice as his old boss glared him down then pointed right at him, "No more cat fights between you guys either?" he asked, pointing at Jay too now. Jay snickered, that was soo long ago, the time when Sean found out about Emma and Jay's little dirty ways back in highschool. Sean had tried to punch him, almost broke his hand, and trashed the auto shop. I guess Tony had reason to be nervous.

"I promise." Sean said, nodding and looking eager for this job.

"Fine." sighed Tony, knowing he was going to give it to him regardless. The guys smirked at another and Tony turned to grab something and threw a mechanic shirt at Sean and then just nodded, leaving with that. Jay's phone beeped and he looked down.

Sean looked to him and eyed his weird grin, "What's with you?"

"You're not the only one whose returned home." smirked Jay, turning to the front door of the shop and quickly jogged out of the garage, seeing Manny standing there, holding her phone and smiling seductively.

Manny giggled, seeing how happy Jay was even though she visited just two weeks ago and she jumped up happily into his arms, and turned her head to kiss him deeply until he set her back down. "Good to see you again, dimples." he teased, running his fingers down through her hair.

She smiled and her heart skipped, before she turned her head to see someone walking up to them. Sean Cameron. "SEAN!?" she exclaimed.

He smiled a bit 'caught' like, and scratched the back of his head as he came over. Manny's eyebrows raised. Damn, this guy only got more good looking. Jay gave Manny a look as he slid an arm around her waist, catching her staring but she was also just in such AWE! Plus.. she was utterly in love with Jay. But a girl cannot be blind to Sean's biceps.

"How you doing?" Sean asked her, trying to keep cool. She shook her head, did Emma even KNOW he was home!? How long has he been here? Had they seen another?!

"G-good.." Manny drifted, glancing at Jay and they shared a look which told Manny that Emma may not know.

Sean tried to keep things going and joked, "I heard you were an actress now. I'm more shocked you two are dating though. And it's serious." he admitted playfully, pointing between her and Jay, but honestly.. they looked great with another.

"He begged me." Manny said with a cheeky smile and Jay grinned, rolling his eyes. Sean chuckled with them.

(((**)))

During this time at Declans pool party, Spinner and Jane had come into the back yard of Declans house where everyone was swimming or partying.

"Sup guys?" Declan asked from the barbecue, waving his spatula at them.

Spinner checked out the burgers he cooked and nearly cringed, "Man you need some help?"

Declan shrugged, happily giving him the spatula, "Sure man, go for it." he said. Holly J laughed while coming up beside him and turned toward Jane. "Want to go change into our swim suits?" she asked.

Jane nodded and followed Holly J to the tent outside for Girls only. Jane changed to a black bikini, and Holly J helped tie her bikini at the neck.

Holly J happily sighed, "It all worked out, Spinner never found out about you and Declan. And Me and Declan fell in love and, I think the boys are even bonding over burgers." she laughed and Jane joined in.

"Yea, it all worked out for the best." Jane informed ever so ironically because outside the tent, Spinner glared at it, hearing everything they were saying. Jane...cheated on him..with Declan?
