"JAMES POTTER YOU ARROGANT PIG!" Lily Evans screamed.
"I thought you would like it!?" He said defensively
"WHY WOULD I LIKE TO BE WOKEN UP AT 5AM BY A FLOCK OF OWL'S RUSHING INTO MY ROOM!!"
"Didn't you read the notes?" He asked apprehensivily
"WHAT ALL FIFTY OF THEM!" James friends watched the argument from across the common room.
"1 Galleon that she hexes him withing 5 minutes" Muttered Sirius.
"Deal" Said Remus
"WHY ON EARTH DID YOU DO THAT!"
"To show you that I like you?" He said uncertainly.
"YOU ARE THE MOST ARROGANT, EGOTISTICAL, ANNOYING...EUGH!" She said stomping her foot.
"Did you actually just stomp your foot?" He asked "I thought girls just did that in movies"
"That's it!" She pulled out her wand from her robes and pointed it at James' face. "I hope you like bats Potter" She said menacingly.
"Please Lily!" He pleaded "Not the face, please?" She hesitated for a second as if deciding.
"Nope" She said with a grin and zapped him. "Like I said Potter, hope you like bats, cos' that bat bogey hex might last a while"
"You owe me a galleon" Whispered Sirius triumphantly.
"Damm" Remus cursed.
"You'll love me one day Lily" Called out James whilst trying to get rid of the bats.
"Never in a million years" She replied whilst flouncing out of the common room.
Little did she know, James was absolutely right, even if he was the most arrogant, egotistical, annoying guy she had ever met, she still learnt to love him, rather alot.
