The Hard Way
What exactly was the hard way?
Disclaimer: I don't own Rizzoli and Isles
AN: I know I could've made this a little dirtier, but I'm a prude and can't write smut without blushing…sooo
"My uniform makes me look like a man," Jane complained as she glared at the outfit in Maura's hands.
"Do you want to put it on, or do you want the hard way?" Maura looked at Jane pointedly. When Jane didn't respond, Maura approached Jane.
"What are you doing Maura?" Jane jerked away from her friend as Maura started to take Jane's shirt off.
"This is the hard way Jane, I am dressing you myself, and afterwards I am going to do you hair."
"No, Maura stop, I can dress myself."
"Apparently you can't, now, pants next." Jane lifted her hips to allow Maura to take her pants off. "Lift your arms to your side, I'm going to put your shirt on now." Once again, Jane complied and did as Maura said. After Jane's shirt was buttoned and the collar fixed, Maura moved to put on Jane's pants.
"Okay, I draw the line at putting pants on," Jane whined, but lifted each leg according to what her friend was doing. A few minutes passed and Jane was completely dressed with shoes on and everything.
"Okay, hair is next. I would suggest the bun that female marines don when attending duty and special events. What do you think Jane?"
"That works just fine, just as long as I don't have to lift my arms up again." Maura smiled, a ghost of concern clouded her eyes though, then proceeded to get Jane's hair presentable. Once Jane's hair was finished Maura proclaimed that she was done.
"You're ready and it is way past time to go Jane," Maura said, snapping Jane out of her haze.
"Yeah, let's go," Jane replied. She really wasn't looking forward to delivering a speech, even more so because she didn't feel like she deserved it.
"You'll be fine, just say something uplifting, people like that," Maura said. It was like she could read Jane's mind.
"Okay, thanks for advice, I totally didn't know that people liked positive things," Jane retorted. Maura didn't reply and simply walked out the door, expecting Jane to follow. "I'm coming, by the way, you might have to get me out of the get up after the event. I didn't have the energy to get into in the first place."
"Okay Jane, I'll do it," Maura replied, already by the door leading outside.
