It started off on one of those days.

I got home from school. Everything was the same except for the fact that Lacy wasn't home.

She would usually be home cooking and looking after my one and a half year old sister, Alice.

My fifteen year old brother Max was in his room studying for his exams and of course my twenty year old sister Sabrina was out partying with all her friends.

I opened my bedroom door and screamed "OH GOSH LANA WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING HERE? You gave me such a fright."

My best friend Lana was sitting on my bed staring at me.

She replied "Sorry I scared you; I just wanted to know if I could stay at your house tonight."

I said "I don't know if Lacy will say yes.""Isn't Lacy home." Replied Lana."She should be home but she isn't. I don't know where she is. Should I call her?" I asked."I think you should." Replied Lana.

I called Lacy and she said that she was stuck in a huge traffic jam with Alice and that Lana could stay over. I said "What time do you think you will get home." "I don't know honey, just lock all the doors and windows and don't answer the door to anyone."Lacy answered. I replied "Okay I will see you later. I Love you mom."She put the phone down without saying goodbye.

Max stormed into my room, poured water all over me and pulled my hair.

He said "I heard your conversation over the phone with Lacy. Now I can do whatever I want to you and you can't do anything about it."

"Oh yes I can. I can tell Lacy."I replied.

"No you can't." said Max

"Why can't I tell Lacy?" I replied.

"You can't tell her because she is only going to get home when you and Lana are fast asleep." Said Max.

I shoved him out the door and said "Get out and stay out!"

"Come here Chica!" I commanded.

Chica jumped up onto my bed and fell asleep.

At least she didn't feel as stressed as me.

Sabrina got home at three o'clock at in the morning.

She was drunk so I didn't let her in.

She ended up going to stay at a friend's house.

Lacy wasn't home yet!

I tried calling her but she didn't answer.

I got really scared.

Max fell asleep and left me and Lana alone.

We sat around all night and Lacy still didn't pitch up.

We woke Max up and told him that Lacy and Alice aren't home yet.

We got dressed, made our lunch, showered and got on the school bus.

On my way to school I saw a few hobos, a drunk man, my sister and a huge accident on the freeway that Lacy was stuck on last night.

The car in the accident was exactly the same as Lacy's; it had the same number plate and everything.
