"Natalie Eaton, get back here!" I scream as I chase my eight year old daughter around the house, trying to get her into the bathtub.

"Daddy said I didn't need a bath," she complains and I give Tobias a death glare as he sinks into his chair.

"I just said that she could wait until tomorrow," he says sheepishly. I see my daughter's mane of blonde hair bounce behind her as she leaps into his arms. Natalie is certainly a daddy's girl and has Tobias wrapped around her little fingers.

"Fine, I give up, time for bed," I say and they both follow me into Natalie's room. Will must have heard all the commotion because he decides to vacate his room to come join us in Natalie's slightly smaller one.

Will is our thirteen year old son, he is very quiet and a momma's boy. His short hair is dark brown and his skin is tan but his eyes are my grey-blue color.

Natalie, on the other hand, is the polar opposite. She is full of energy and always ready to go, like a cat ready to spring. Much to Tobias's dismay, her blonde hair, fair skin, and dark blue eyes make her stunningly beautiful.

We all gather around and Natalie climbs into bed. "Daddy, can you tell me a story?" she asks quietly.

"Of course, sweetie. What kind of story do you have in mind?" he asks and she thinks for a couple seconds.

"How did you and mom meet?" she asks and I see Will look at us with his full attention, they have never heard this story.

"Well, that happened a long time ago," Tobias starts, "when I was 18 and your mom was 16, she transferred to Dauntless," he says and I allow myself to smile at the memories.

"You're dad was my instructor, but as soon as he pulled me out of that net, my world changed for the better," I say, sugar coating it a little bit for the sake of Natalie who still believes in unicorns and magic as well as happily ever after.

"Yes, I'm sure having me throw knives at your head and cutting your ear was the best way to win you over," Tobias says with a playful smirk and I roll my eyes at him.

"You threw knives at her head? What in the world did you for that?" Will asks and I give a little laugh.

"The other instructor, Eric, was cruel, one of my friends stood up to him and Eric made your father throw knives at him but I stood up for him and ended up taking his place." I say with a shrug while Natalie stares at me in awe.

"Mommy's really brave," she says looking at Tobias who nods with a smile, sharing a glance with me.

"Where is Eric now?" Will asks and Tobias closes his eyes for a moment.

"Dead," he says with a quiet voice, "I killed him during the war when he threatened your mother," he says and Will gasps a little.

"You're Four, the Dauntless prodigy who saved the city," he says in awe and Tobias gives him a smile.

"And allow me to introduce myself as Six, the girl who went into the weapons lab and used the memory serum on the Beuro," I say, taking a mock bow.

Natalie gasps and so does William. "My friends talk about you all the time, they always tell me stories that their parents told them about the legendary Six and Four who took down a government agency and saved the city… twice," he says and Tobias grins.

"We tried to hide it from you for a little bit, we wanted you to grow up with a normal life, something we never had the privilege to experience," Tobias says with a shrug.

"That's why mommy screams at night, she has bad dreams," Natalie says and I give her a sad smile.

"Yes, I have bad dreams, but I have lots of happiness in my life, I have a husband who would move mountains for me, two children I would die for, and friends who have been with me through the toughest times," I say and Natalie smile, letting out a loud yawn.

"I'm going to bed now," she says, closing her eyes, "Goodnight daddy, goodnight mommy," she says and I kiss her temple.

"Goodnight, sweetheart," I say and I motion for William to follow me outside.

Even though he is only thirteen, he is almost as tall as me because of my petite build but I hug him like he's a toddler.

"How would you like it if you're father and I came to school on parent's day and talk to your class," I say and I can already feel the smile forming on his face.

Will tells us about kids who pick on him because he is a quiet Dauntless kid but if they realized that he has the legendary Four and Six as parents, the bullies might back off.

"I would really like that," he says, and even though he's thirteen and entering his rebellious phase, I tuck him into bed and kiss his forehead goodnight.
