Rei sees a picture and the questions start racing through her mind again, because, it was always Minako wasn't it?
Disclaimer: I do not own Sailor Moon or any of the characters
I stare at the lone photo stuck to my rusty fridge, it's of you...why does it always come down to you in the end? Why is my life so centered around you that nothing else seems to matter? Why? You told me you wanted me to find love, I did, he was the best thing that had ever happened to me. I can't even remember his name now because of you. Damn you. My selfish best friend who could never really let me go. You claim to be the embodiment of love and beauty. You're just another creature sent from Satan himself.
You told me once that love exists in everything but I don't understand. What is love? Why does it exist if it only brings pain? Why do people fall in love when in the end they'll just get hurt? Why would someone love when they know that it will only ever hurt?
What does it feel like to be loved? I don't understand. Why do they say love conquers all when the world is ruled by hate?
They say that if you love someone, you'll let them go. They also say if you love someone with all your heart, you'll fight for them and that you would never let them be hurt. I don't understand. Which are you supposed to do?
They say loving someone is accepting them for who they are and yet always you are striving to change each other. They say to be yourself and yet everybody is pushing you to be someone else and to change so what do they mean? Loving someone is loving them for who they are, not matter how they treat you. How can you hate them for treating them as they do when you yourself love them? It does not make sense.
You can't always be the biggest thing in their lives, you have to accept that, if you can't accept that, you can't ask them to change or they won't be the same person you love.
Loving them for who they are means you love them for their appearance and don't care who they are on the inside, loving them for their personality means if you have two different looking people with the same traits, what happens?
How do you know when you've fallen in love? What is that feeling? Why is love so simple and complex at the same time? What is love? Love is the same as the opposite of hate. Love is the opposite of hate and yet there is such a fine line that it is undistinguishable. Love and hate exist as one and yet are completely separate. How do you know when you love someone?
How does one know if they are loved? Why does love exist?
This is what I wish to know. My simplest question. And how would you decide? How can you love more than one person with all your heart? Wouldn't your heart be divided? Why is love so confusing? Why do people love?
Why does it hurt so much to let you go?
Is it because of everything we shared, a friendship never to be broken by time itself?
Damn you Minako, damn you. Damn you for ruining my love.
R&R!
