A/N: Kukuh gets clean. Kukuh, Sen, Ling and Sali are all original characters from Ciloron's story Tides of Chaos. It's a long but good read. With his permission, I have written a slash pairing between Kukuh and Sen - Kusen.

Kukuh stood among the tall reeds, scrubbing his body with the small strip of cloth that he used as a rag. It was great that they finally found a stream to freshen up. Though everyone needed a fine, healthy layer of earth, he was starting to smell and really wanted to feel clean right now.
There was a splash from behind him and Kukuh turned, using the cloth to block out the important parts. "Who goes there?" he asked hesitantly. It could be anyone, foe more likely than friend (he only had three friends now).
But then the reeds parted and he saw Sen moving slowly towards him. He let out a breath. "You scared me," he said before turning the other way and continuing his bath.
He didn't notice that Sen had not stopped approaching him until he felt the boy's arms around his waist and lips on his neck. "I figured you needed some help," Sen murmured against his skin.
"Sen," Kukuh said in shock trying to get out of his grasp, very much aware that the two of them were naked in the water, and the boy was right behind him.
"Kukuh, don't resist," Sen said as he spun Kukuh around and placed a firm kiss on his lips.
The pair returned to the small campsite Ling and Sali had set up, their hair still damp from the water. Ling scoffed as the two boys sat down, "Did you enjoy yourself?"
Kukuh looked away from Sen, trying to fight back his embarrassment. Ling couldn't have known what they just did. "Wuh?"
Ling said, "I asked if you enjoyed yourself. Took you long enough, so I hope you smell better than a dead platypus bear now."
