I'm back ^^
Recently, I started to get reviews in my email again after a long time without stories. It made me think that now would be a good time to start up again, so here it is :)

Yeah this is corny, but I'm going dedicate this to the person who inspired this story.

"And so ends another day," Temari said, looking up at the stars in the sky.

Shikamaru sat down and leant back on the tree on the hill's top.

"A troublesome day at that."

Temari smirked. "Just because you had to fill in some paperwork, doesn't mean it was such a bad day."

He yawned and closed his eyes. "I thought you knew me better."

Temari sat down beside him. "I thought I'd try making you seem better than you are for once."

"Heh."

Shikamaru opened his eyes and look up into the sky.

"At least I have the stars and the clouds to give me some sort of peace after days like these."

"A day of minimal effort."

"A troublesome day nonetheless."

The two of them sat and watched the sky for a while, spotting one or two shooting stars.

"I'm going to miss doing these things, I must admit," Temari said after a while.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

Temari looked at him. "One day you're going to find someone else to spend time to look at stars like these, and it would be awkward for a friend of yours to join you two when that time comes."

Shikamaru was silent for a while. "What if I don't meet anyone else?"

"Don't be stupid. Just 'cos you're a ninja, doesn't mean you won't have anyone else. Sooner or later you're going to have someone special come into your life."

She got up and began to walk off.

"It's getting late, and we got an early morning ahead of us, so you better get to bed as well, lazy-ass."

Shikamaru put up a hand in farewell. "Will do. Goodnight."

When she was gone, Shikamaru took his time before getting up as well.

He made one last glance at the moon, before beginning his journey home.

A small smirk crept unto his face.

"Troublesome woman. Doesn't she know that I want the special person in my life to be her?"
