Hey everyone. DawnGoddess here with my first fic! This is a RobxStar pairing but also has BBxTerra and CyxRae… So enjoy!
The ocean's waves were heatedly slapping the edges of Titans Tower, demanding entry through the immense double doors. "BEEP…BEEP…BEEP…BEEP…BEEP…" Alarms were vibrating through every corner of the tower, waking the teen superheroes.
"EEEK!" A flash of red hair soared down a long corridor, before coming to sharp halt at a lone grey door. Knocking on it profusely, the door finally opened to reveal a very agitated Robin.
"Starfire… where are the others? What's going on? Are you okay?" He looked both ways down the corridor before grabbing Starfire's hand and, pulling on it, launching into a slight run. She gave in willingly, though still confused with what happened.
"DUDE!" A soaking wet Beast Boy emerged from his room looking wide awake. His girlfriend came running down the hall, ears ringing from the noise and eyes squinting due to the flashing of the scarlet alarm.
"BB! Are you okay. What happened to you… don't tell me you tried to install a hot tub in your bedroom again. I told you that that wouldn't be such a good idea you goof!" Smiling slightly, Terra leaned in and gave him a tender kiss on his sopping wet lips. Beast Boy, totally forgetting what was happening around him, happily responded, grinning against her lips.
"Hey! This is NO time to be kissing while we're in the middle of a crisis!" Cyborg rounded the corner. "The tower's beginning to flood and I can't find Rob and Star anywhere! I closed all the doors and sealed all the exits so that water won't come in and.. ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME!" Cyborg's face grew flushed as he got steadily angrier. Beast Boy and Terra drew apart, blushing. Suddenly, both of their faces turned into ones of fright and panic. Cyborg's face suddenly deflated and he turned around. A gigantic body of water was making its way steadily down the corridor, with Raven flying only centimeters in front of it. "RUN!" Yelled Cyborg before sprinting down the passageway. Terra immediately summoned a large block of rock and hopped onto it, before maneuvering her way down the hall, as Beast Boy morphed into a Teryidactal and flew down the corridor.
"AAAAAAHHHHHH!" Everyone turned to be greeted by a horrifying sight.-
"Robin, where is it you are taking me?" Starfire's beautiful features were etched with worry and fright. He said nothing, but took out his communicator to get a lock on the other Titans; however, he was greeted by a soft light exposing the words 'OUT OF RANGE'. Out of range? How was that even possible? He and Cyborg had made the communicators able to locate any Titan anywhere. But somehow, this wasn't working. Unexpectedly, Robin felt something tug on his sleeve. He looked over at Starfire, but only to see her looking in terror and in shock to something over his shoulder. Spinning around abruptly, he saw an enormous wave making its way towards them. "Starfire, I want you to fly as fast as you can." She didn't move. She continued to look at Robin, a loving expression reflected in deep emerald orbs she called eyes. "NOW STARFIRE!" She rose into the air, only to fall back down again.
"Robin, I cannot fly!" His face turned to meet hers, horror, dread and another expression all evident on his all too handsome features.
"What?"
"AAAAAAHHHHHH!" Everyone turned to be greeted by a horrifying sight. Cyborg's body was slowly descending into the raging water.
"CYBORG!" Raven screamed. She enveloped herself in a pitch black aura and dived in after him.
"RAVEN!" Terra cried. They couldn't lose two of their best team mates. Especially Raven. After all Terra had done to her, they had just made up and Terra did not want to lose that. She shifted her rock, wanting to turn back and save her friends, but she felt something sharp yet gentle envelope both her spindly arms. She turned her head, her damp blonde hair glowing slightly, as were her eyes. "Beast Boy, we can't leave them. We have to help them, come on!" She struggled trying hard to get out of his talons, but he gripped tighter.
Suddenly, she felt her feet leave her rock. Beast Boy was taking her somewhere safe, somewhere the water couldn't reach them.
"What?" Robin's voice had turned soft and his voice was dripping with worry.
"I cannot fly. I have tried!" The water was getting closer and closer. Robin looked at the wave behind them, looking as if he was making a split-second choice. Suddenly, the whole world stopped as Robin pressed his lips, fiercely but gently, onto Starfire's. Fireworks went off in both teens' heads; Robin deepened it slightly by licking her lower lip and demanded entry, which she happily gave into. Then, even more abrupt than the kiss she was shoved into a room, a door snapping shut behind her. She turned her beautiful head towards it, horrible thoughts enveloping her mind. Robin! What had he whispered to her?
"You can fly now Starfire… I love you!"
Beast Boy softly placed a soaking wet Terra on the ground. He morphed back into his humane self before crawling over to her. She was crying. They were on the roof of the tower, stars twinkling merrily above them, oblivious to the terror happening beneath them. "Terra. Are you okay?" Beast Boy leaned down and kissed her softly. As they separated, he noticed her red and bloodshot eyes. They were as bright as the stars above them, still glistening with unshed tears.
"Beast Boy, what's going to happen to us? Where are Cy and Rae? Rob and Star? Can't we go save them?" She was pleading with him. Beast Boy had donned the serious demeanor and only shook his head solemnly. She sniveled silently, before cuddling into his chest.
"It's okay… everything will be okay." He tenderly stroked her hair and kissed her forehead.
"CYBORG!" Raven screamed. She enveloped herself in a pitch black aura and dived in after him. Her eyes were frantically searching for any sign of Cyborg. She kept seeing blue and white. Only the waves. Why did Cyborg have to be blue? Why couldn't he be red or something just this once? A lone tear traveled down her pasty white cheek. She carelessly flicked away and… what was that?
"CYBORG!" She yelled again, but with pure joy evident in her voice. He was kicking and flailing under water. Raven encased him in an aura too and attached it to her own. Her merry smile was replaced with one of worry (A/N – That seems to be happening a lot huh?). "Are you okay Cyborg? I… I thought… we thought… you, I… huh?" For once, Raven was short of words. Cyborg smiled sardonically before leaning in and kissing Raven softly on the lips; she smiled against his own. As they parted, a light blush lingered on Raven's face before: SLAP!
"OW! What the hell was that for?" Cyborg rubbed his slightly throbbing cheek.
"For scaring me… and this was for finally kissing me." She leaned in again to be greeted by yet another kiss.
"It's okay… everything will be okay."
Beast Boy yelped with surprise as he saw a black aura coming out of the roof. "Terra! Look!" Terra's head snapped up. There was a smiling Cyborg with a blushing Raven… Blushing Raven? Terra brushed the thought away before running to her friends, giving them a bone-crushing hug which she had adopted from Starfire. "DUDE!" Beast Boy shouted as he and Cyborg spoke and joked. "You what? And with Raven?" Both Terra and Raven walked over to their boyfriends before slapping them on the head.
"OW! What was that for?" The two boys whined in unison.
"For being an idiot." Terra replied smugly.
"And for kissing and telling," Raven said smirking.
"WHAT! You two kissed! OMG! And how could I not know!" Terra threw her hands up in the air exasperatedly.
"Uh guys… where is Robin and Starfire?"
"You can fly now Starfire… I love you"
Starfire's eyes were blank as she thought back to that memory. She had to find Robin. Though if she opened the door she herself would drown. Working up the courage, she lit her starbolts… they worked! A little more confident, she tried to hover. It worked to! And all because Robin had kissed her. A sudden surge of power coursed through her and she blasted a hole in the wall. She needed to get to a safer place. That's what Robin would've wanted her to have done right? No. Yes? Maybe Robin had already saved himself and had brought himself to safety… YES! He would've done that. She soared up to the roof, hoping to fin Robin standing there and waiting for her with her other friends. Though, when she landed on the roof, she was greeted by four other solemn faces. "Robin? Where is Robin?" They all walked towards her and led her to the large volleyball court. There he stood smiling at her with open arms.
Squealing with delight, she ran towards him. Looking up into his face she smiled before leaning in once more. Their lips met once more in a heated kiss. His tongue found it's way into her mouth, heating the kiss even more. Smiling, they let go of each other, only to give each other another hug.
"I love you too Robin!"
