You Broke What?!

by Starsinger

I got this idea from last night's episode of "Rules of Engagement". No, still don't own them.

Scott should have known. That still didn't excuse them, but he should have known. The story that led two of his teachers to his office that morning was actually a funny one, expensive, but funny. All right, it might have been funny if their antics hadn't caused havoc elsewhere in the mansion.

Two weeks after the team had returned from Breakworld these two had been going at it like rabbits. Unfortunately, some of the casualties had been one of the computer mainframes, the couch in the teacher's lounge, the wall in the teacher's lounge, the science lab, wait, that was one of the kids, and Scott's and Emma's patience.

This last incident was the straw that broke the camel's back. This morning they woke up to the sound of gushing water. When they stepped outside their room, a small river was flowing from Kitty's room as the sound of Russian swear words. The river eased to a trickle as Scott strode over to the door and began to knock. Kitty answered looking disheveled and wearing a robe. "Meet me in my office in an hour," was all he said.

So, the three of them wound up in Scott's office, "Okay, I understand that you two want to get close, and it would be hypocritical of me to tell me you can't. BUT DID YOU HAVE TO BREAK THE BATHROOM SINK!" Kitty looked glumly at the carpet, Peter turned bright red, and Scott continued, "There's only one way to fix this. Kitty, pack your stuff, you're moving in with Peter, no, don't argue with me. Just be thankful that I'm not taking the cost of the sink from your paychecks. I need your genius with the computers too much."

He looked up at the big Russian, "Peter, next time, try the counter." With that they left, Scott didn't miss the crowd of students outside his office hoping to hear what transpired.

Logan and Emma pushed their way through, watching the backs of their colleagues, "Well, did you get them settled?" Logan asked.

Scott laughed, "As long as they don't try using the kitchen sink!"

I hope this makes you laugh yourself silly. I tried.
