Request fic for Nelia-chan. Hope you like it. If you want to make a request go to my bio to find out how.A blonde headed girl sighed deeply as she clutched a small doll, her gaze locked on the setting sun. Her mind on the single person she wanted so very much, but couldn't have.
A single crystal tear fell down her cheek, she held the doll closer to her, "It's raining." She whispered, wiping the fallen tear from her cheek before she glanced over her shoulder, "Mari knows you're there."
A boy, with long black hair tied back in a long cord, slowly walked up to her, a small frown on his face, "I'm sorry for spying." He said simply, standing next to the girl.
Mari shook her head, "Mari doesn't care." She said, a hint of sadness in her voice.
"What happened?" The boy asked gently, worry painted on his face.
Mari glanced at him from the corner of her eye, "Why would Nichrome care?" She asked, her voice quivering.
Nichrome blinked, "Maybe I could help?"
Mari snorted, "Mari doubts Nichrome could help with this."
Nichrome merely smirked, "Try me."
Mari turned to him before slowly nodding, "It's about Hao-sama."
Nichrome's frown returned to his face, "Oh." He said simply.
"Hao-sama only wants Mari for her power, not for Mari." The girl pouted, new tears threatening to spill.
Nichrome sighed deeply, how many times has he been through something like this with her? "Maybe Mari should give up on Hao-sama." He said gently, "After all, one cannot love a God."
Mari frowned deeply, "Mari doesn't want to!" She said stomping her foot childishly.
Nichrome sighed once more, "Maybe Mari should try to love someone else." He said quietly.
Mari slowly glanced at Nichrome, "Why does Nichrome sound so hurt?" She asked, approaching the said boy.
Nichrome blinked before blushing, "I'm not hurt." He said quickly.
Mari cocked her head as she stared into Nichrome's eyes, "Mari sees so much pain. Is Nichrome still hurting about Chrome?"
Nichrome shook his head, "No, I got my revenge for him." He said bitterly.
Mari looked at Nichrome, her eyes full of confusion, "Why does Nichrome hurt then?"
Nichrome bit his lip, "I'm hurt because…the girl I love is in love with someone else who won't ever return her feelings. But, she's unwilling to give me a chance."
Mari blinked and stayed quiet for a moment, "Nichrome…wants a chance." She said slowly as she walked even closer to him.
Nichrome nodded, "That's all I ask of her."
Mari smiled slightly, "Mari will give Nichrome a chance." She said simply.
Nichrome's eyes widened as Mari gently pressed her lips against his, her slender arm wrapping around his neck, pulling him closer.
