Through the clouds, power sped,
courage weaved, wisdom fled,
every shred of hope is gone,
taken by a secret song,
song of evil, song of death,
'cross the land, length and breadth,
through the canyon evil calls,
down yon sacred waterfall,
through the lake both far and wide,
in the lake, on the east side,
lies a hole, it crept through there,
Zora's Domain, it lies where?
Near the mountain, tall and proud,
near the forest, nothing loud,
after corrupting mountain all,
after scaling both width and tall,
down into the forest, into village,
rapine*, plunder, loot and pillage,
but alas! Link will fight,
a shred of hope, a prick of light
piercing through eternal night,
hear the warning in this lore,
quoth the Siren, never
more.
*Rapine – Don't get any dirty ideas! It means either cruddy little
thievery of thievery without destruction.
This is my first Fan-Fic on ff.net after my site got shut down and I
lost my fics. I don't mind constructive criticism but if you flame me for no
reason, I want you to take a deep breath, count to 10, and stab yourself in the
face repeatedly with a barbed knife.
