The first lesson
Have you ever wondered what makes a weapon? I know I sure have. Ever since the drifter arrived I've questioned everything that the vanguard ever told us. Yes, we as guardians have access to powerful weapons but what about the who or what that made them? They tell us these stories and say "this how it was made and these are the people who made them". But if the drifter taught me anything I know that we can't trust the vanguard fully. Hence why I'm about to go into the only section of the library that is off limits to those who don't have the clearance to do so.
This "renegade" warlock was about to break every protocol just to find the truth. The vanguard said that the drifter was a bad influence and they were oh so right. As he walked through the library towards the section that was off limits to most guardians he put his hand on his holster and walked up to the frame at the desk. "I need a pass to get in please," he asked kindly. The frame looked up at him "May I please see your special access card." he pulled out his sidearm and set it in front of the frame. "Does this count?" he asked
"May I please see your special access card," it repeated.
"Now listen, we can do this the easy way or the hard way, and quite frankly I wanna do it the easy way," he said as he aimed the sidearm at the frame.
It quickly stood and grabbed his arm and aimed it at the ceiling "Your access card please".
"GAH, ow that really hurts, and here's my access card," he said as he sent a small ball of void energy into its mid-section causing it to melt apart.
He walked to the computer sitting on the desk opening the large vault that held all information on special "exotic" class weaponry and armor. "Finally, time to learn the truth," he said as he walked into the vault and sealing it behind him...
