"My version of 'Twilight'"
As I got off the plane I see Charlie waiting to pick me up from the airport. I walked slowly toward him not wanting to face any questions.
"Hey Bella, how was the plane ride?"
"Oh, it was fine." I said in the most cheerful voice I could manage. "That's cool. Well let's get your stuff and get back home." Yeah home, my home was in Phoenix, not Forks. I guess I'll just have to get used to it.
Once we arrived I quickly ran up to my room remembering it from the moment I saw the house. I unpacked quickly and ran to take a warm shower.
Charlie was watching one of his games when I came down from the shower. Charlie saw me walking back upstairs and quickly said, "School's tomorrow!" I turned back and walked downstairs sitting in an armchair next to the sofa. "Yeah it is." I said acting surprised. "Aren't you exited?"
"Yes of course I am." I said lying. He gave up and said, "Well it is a school night so get to bed early." I nodded and quickly walked upstairs. I decided to go to bed now even if is only 8:16 p.m.
I got up that morning in a daze. I didn't care what to wear to school. I just pulled of a pair of dark blue jeans and a tan T-shirt and a pair of converse sneakers. I made my way downstairs as fast as I could so I don't have to face Charlie today but he was already out. I gave a sign of relief. I brushed my hair not caring if it looked like shit. I ate some cereal with milk, grabbed my books, got the car keys and ran out of the house.
Thankfully the school wasn't far from home. I found parking fast, the lady in the office had an attitude but at least I made a new friend Mike Newton. He walked me to my classes. It was finally lunch and I sat down at Mike's table with some of his friends. Jessica was in my Spanish class so I knew her and sat next to her.
"Hey Jess who is that boy with all the other students?" Jessica followed my gaze. "Oh those are the Cullen's." She described all 4 to me except the one with bronze hair. "Who's the one in the bronze hair?" He turned around and meets my eyes I quickly looked down at my food feeling embarrassed. "Oh that's Edward Cullen, Hot right?" I nodded not wanting to talk about them but, she continued telling me stuff about them how there always together and that there father is a doctor at the school and there all adopted.
After lunch I made my way to the next class biology. There was only one free seat and that was next to the stunning Edward Cullen. When I sat down his eyes turned pitch black. In the lunch room I remember his eyes where a sweet honey color. It looked as if he wanted to kill me. When the bell rang he was the first to leave. Gym was horrible I kept tripping over myself.
After school I bumped into Alice Cullen. She was gorgeous. "Oh hey you're the new girl Bella right?" I was surprised that she was talking to me. "What? Oh yeah I am." She smiled, "Well Bella I'm Alice and this is Jasper." I didn't realize he was there for a moment. I looked up at him and his eyes where also pitch black like Edwards. I just smiled and said hi, and walked away to my car. At the corner of my eye was a nice black car; a Volvo. It was Edwards's car. He was leaning against the front of the car with Emmet and Alice and Jasper made there way next to them. It was like I called his name or something he looked straight at me and our eyes meet once again. Only this time he looked away and I simply walked to my truck and headed home.
