Keene glanced over at the other table. She was there, laughing with her friends. She looked so pretty tonight, the Christmas lights lit up her face so magically.
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
She got up from the table, but then started walking in the other direction, towards the food. This was the worst Christmas party ever, not counting the one that was in July. The tree was magnificent with all its ordiments. The angel on top didn't even rival her beauty.
And I don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
The Kender was impatiently waiting for her to walk over in his direction, but she didn't. She started dancing with Icefire, ICEFIRE! What a friend he was. He scowled at the half-elf.

Keene hopped up and bounced over to the dance floor, where Vael was standing alone, Elidor was in the toilet. "Hey Vael, wanna dance?" he asked with a goofy bow, "Sure Keene!" He swept her on to the floor. She looked over at him, and seemed to grimace, and then looked away.
I don't want a lot for Christmas

She and Icefire seemed to be having a good time, this made Keene angry. He wanted to be with her.

As she walked out of the room, so did Davyn. Getting them trapped under the mistletoe. Keene slapped himself in the forehead. The couple looked at Rina to get her approval; he hoped she would say no. Yet, Rina nodded while laughing. She and Davyn quickly kissed, and she hurried to the bathroom. Then the idea struck him, he would stand under the mistletoe till she came back in.
I won't ask for much this Christmas

The little sailor waited a long time, and had to kiss Koi and Nearra, but he still waited and waited and waited. Until his girl came up, and walked right under the mistletoe. "How many times will I walk under this thing and get caught?"

"Hey! Are you going to stand there all day talking, or are you going to play by the rules and kiss me?" Keene stated offended.
All the lights are shining so brightly everywhere
And the sound of children's laughter fills the air

"I'm sorry. I guess I'll kiss you!" she laughed. She leaned down and pecked him on the lips. He caught her off guard and threw his arms around her neck, deepening the kiss.

He let go. "Wow!" she gasped. "Merry Christmas, Jirah!" he smiled. "Merry Christmas, Keene!"
