"Come on boys, have I ever steered ya wrong?" Eddy made an attempt at a charming smile.

"" You shouldn't ask questions you don't want to be answered." Double D said casually reaching for the wrench beside him. He didn't bother to look away from his project.

Eddy crossed his arms angrily. "Okay, fine, I admit I have some bad ideas, but you an' Ed are right there with me!"

"You're absolutely correct, we do follow you into your scams. As your friends, it's our job to stand by you. Right or wrong, through hard times and good times we will be tg

here. However, it is sometimes necessary to put one's foot down and inform you that the idea in question simply is not worth the risks.

"Then you tell me how I'm gonna get rich and be famous if I don't smart guy." Eddy raged.

"there are no garantees in life Eddy, the best that can be done is for you to work hard to reach your goal. you have many options open to you, you just need to find tge right path to take you there. Please hand me the screwdriver beside you" Eddy did as he was asked.

"Easy for you ta say Double D, you got brains, you can do whatever you want, ya know, invent a time travel thing or win the noble prize thing they have" Eddy's anger was quickly turning to sadness. Double D had so much and he had nothing.

"It's Nobel, if you spent more time paying attention in class, you could learn just as much. Ed, please don't touch that, if it breaks Mother will be most displeased." Ed placed the antique snowglobe back on the shelf and turned back to the tv.

"Me an Ed don't have your smarts, we got nothin' but scams. what're we supposed ta do?" Double D sighed before replying.

"I don't know why fame and fortune is so important to you Eddy but if that's what is meant to happen, then in time-"

"Time's money Socjhead, the more we waste talkin' about it, the less of a chance I have, don't you understand, No one'll ever know who I am!" Double D stopped his work and put the tools on the table. The statement had been more sorrowful than angry. He turned to face his friend.

"I'll know you, and Ed will too. You'll never just be a face in the crowd with us Eddy. You may not have money, or a camera on you all the time but you're always going to be someone to us." Double D said sincerly. Eddy shook his head.

"My bro said-"

"Eddy, I couldn't care less about what your brother says or thinks,what matters is what I'm telling are one of my best friends, and no matter what happens bewteen the three of us, arguing and what not, we come back together, that is friendship Edddy, perhaps you have more riches than you know, I for one value our friendship more than all the money in the world. The truth is that having the two of you in my life has made myvlife rich and-" Double D gasped as Eddy throw his arms around him.

" Thanks Double D,you an Ed are awesome, I'm sorry for all the stuff you guys go through for me." Double D returned the hug.

"We'd take any trouble in the world for you Eddy."

"Group hug!" Ed shouted suddebly joining them embrace.

"I don't deserve you guys."

"sure you do cause you're Eddy and we love you." Ed saud happily.

"yes Eddy?"
