Mass Effect Challenge

Yo CorpesKing here with a challenge for any and all willing to take it. Okay I got the idea for this after reading "History Repeated, Lesson Learned" by KitBeast. The General idea for this challenge is that before activating the Charon Relay and leaving there home system humanity discovers the existence of the reapers and the truth about the Citadel and the Mass Relays from the Prothean ruins on Mars. After this discovery Humanity reacts by going through a massive military build-up and begins to develop new technologies to prepare them for what is to come.

There are several points that must be followed for this story.

Humanity must use the ME form of FTL no Slipspace (Halo) Shockpoint (Deadspace) or anything else.

There must be a time difference of at least 2000-6000 years to make it so humans have enough time to expand without the use of the relays and advance technologically enough to fight the Reapers. This would make it so that Humans had been space fairing longer than any council race.

Humanities first contact cannot be with any citadel race this includes member species such as the Hanar, Drell, Elcor, ect. Humanities first contact must be with a non-affiliated species (Quarians, Geth, Rachni, Krogan, ect.) how they meet is up to you.

Humanity must not activate the relay in the home system or any others they discover in order to help keep their existence secret from the reapers. Though they may build their own if you feel like making it so they can do so.

I also have some suggestions for possible technologies Humanity could use/build.

AI- lets be serious AI's are awesome the council are complete morons to disregard them. Personally I would like it if the AI's are like the ones in Halo if you decide to use them.

Harvesters- A space station lightly inspired Star wars Knights of the Old Republics Star Forge. These massive stations are built to extract pure unrefined eezo from stars and suns (since eezo is actually released after a star goes supernova) and provide Humanity a near endless supply of eezo to use and experiment with.

ODP- the ODP or Orbital Defence platform take from halo these stations would use a combination of halo's magnetic acceleration tech and ME's mass acceleration tech to create the always OP super gun all Halo fans know and love.

Biotic Network- derived from the o so wonderful Spartan II augmentations from the Halo series the subjects have their entire nervous system replaced with metal fibers and Eezo nodes designed to increase their reaction time and massively augment their biotics.

Now beyond the guidelines listed above and the suggestions for possible technologies you can do anything or develop any technologies, what them to blow things up with a Spartan Lasers fine, terraform there worlds with Fallout's G.E.C.K perfect, shock and awe the council by building their own mass relays, citadel, Ark, or High Charity wonderful, or maybe kick ass with cybernetic implants and augmentations like those in the Deus Ex series, go wild.
