Brennan smiled softly as she typed.

Andrew Ryan was Kathy's love, faith, hope and protection. He was her Keeper, a guarder of her heart and soul, protecting her, helping her, loving her. He placed his hand on the small of her back as they walked out of the J. Edgar Hoover building and back to her lab. She knew she was safe with him and that he'd do anything to protect her. So she let herself relax under his touch, and went on with the day's normalities.

"Hey, Bones, let's roll, we got a lead!" Seeley Booth stuck his head in the door of her office.

She laughed quietly at the irony.

"I'm coming, Booth."
He frowned impatiently, like a child being momentarily denied the right to rip open Christmas presents.
"Come on, hurry up!"
She rolled her eyes, saved and exited the document and grabbed her coat.
"No need to be so impatient, Booth, I was going as fast as I could."
He sighed exasperatedly.
"Fine, now let's just go already," he grumbled, ushering her out her office, habitually placing his hand on the small of her back.

Temperance Brennan sighed contentedly, and relaxed under her Keeper's touch.
