Bridal Suite - Morning

This afternoon she was going to be a Mrs Jessica Lee Winchester. She liked the sound of that. That is, if her husband-to-be would hurry up and arrive on time. Jess sighed and let her maid of honour pin her hair up with the Winchester's heirloom. It was the Winchester's heirloom, a cerulean hair pin which had been used for three generations. It made her feel like she belonged in the family which put asmall smile on her face.

However, her thoughts were interrupted as her Dad stormed in to the room, eyes blazing. "Any word from Sam?" he asked, knowing full well the answer.

"No, but I'm sure he's…" she replied but her voice trailed off as her cell phone started to ring. She quickly answered it and said "Hello?"

Mojave Desert – Morning

Dean rubbed his aching head and leaned against the inside of the payphone. His shirt had been ripped to shreds, his sunglasses were bent with a lens missing and there was a thin trickle of blood dripping from his nose. To say he was a little dishevelled would've been one hell of an understatement.

"Jess, it's Dean." He said, glancing over to his near-totalled 67' Chevy Impala where Cas and Garth were sitting, looking no better than him.

"Hey, Dean!"

"Listen, sweetheart. Uhh…things kinda got outta control and well, we lost Sam."

Jess stared down at her phone with her mouth agape before placing it back beside her ear. "What?! But we're getting married in like four hours!"

Dean squinted from the sharp sunlight hitting his eyes. "Yeah, that ain't gonna happen." He said, chewing on his lower lip.
