Stupid
My best friend is stupid. I mean she's totally a genius and I love her. But she's stupid.
She can't see the way he looks at her. She thinks his love is entirely platonic. I know otherwise.
He is madly in love with her.
It is clear to see. It's hard not to notice the way he looks at her. The way he talks to her.
He took a bullet for her once.
Drove miles to be with her in her time of need.
She says their "partners". Not even friends, "partners".
She can't even fathom how much he loves her and all that he sees in her.
That's why my best friend is stupid.
