This little thing has been bothering me for days. It is just a random thought that begged to be released. Enjoy (maybe...)

The Land of Harry Potter Fanfiction

Of the many galaxies that populated the universe of "Creativity," there is a great variance in their size and shape. Today we will be looking at the Galaxy of Literature in the System of Fantasy and on the planet of Harry Potter.

The world of Harry Potter is a very interesting place there are three main continents: Canon, Fanon, and Fanfiction.

In the beginning was Canon-who then spawned the islands surrounding it. Fanon broke away from Canon, still maintaining relations however. Fanfiction seemed to appear soon after Canon-few know when exactly-just that it was "soon after." Fanfiction grew and grew and still continues to grow. Of course it holds ties to Canon in some form-be it basic structure of people and places o some other connection.

Canon is itself a decently sized land and has prospered well in the years since the planets creation. The small islands surrounding Canon and have done well enough on their own, but without Canon they would never have been successful. Likewise the continent of Fanon would be helpless without Canon's support and input (or lack there-of.)

The third continent is by far the most interesting of the continents for it is a much larger area and has been divided into many different countries. The continent of Fanfiction holds countless near replicas of every person from Canon-yet there can be very startling differences. One such difference is that on canon a boy-Harry Potter(for which the world is named)-is very much the epitome of the 'Savior' figure and is in love with one Ginerva Weasley.

However in the land of Fanfiction this does not always hold true, it is common, yes, but not the majority. In Fanfiction Harry Potter may be the next Dark Lord and still be in "love" with Ginny or he may again be the "Savior" yet be in total bliss with Draco Malfoy. For in the land of Fanfiction there are many things possible.

The land of Fanon is quiet, rarely joining in the disputes between Canon and Fanfiction, or between the civil wars of Fanfiction. Fanon has sometimes become-or returned to-Canon or has become part of Fanfiction.

The battles between Canon and fanfiction can be dangerous, Canon trying desperately to subdue the land of Fanfiction.

A useless and endless endevor.

The ships of Fanfiction sail proudly upon the waters of this world sometimes ignoring Canon altogether. Though the waters be stormy and the damage done by Canon be horrendous at times the ships still sail. Ships under the banner of slash make their way proudly across the waters unmindful of their unbelievability, others carrying the banner of Rare move silently-unobtrusive but noticeable if they are searched for carefully-on the waters, others wear their wounds by Canon proudly almost mocking the Canon ships.

Canon can not defeat Fanfiction nor can Fanfiction defeat Canon.

They are in an eternal struggle as one finds fault with the other, no matter how small or insignificant seeming.

For in the world of Harry Potter the land of Fanfiction is just too tempting to pass up. Just as in other worlds who have their version of Fanfiction the Canon can not do much to destroy the lands of Fanfiction. Their creators-authors and authoress' of varying age, skill, prerogative, and name-keep Fanfiction alive and well with only their imaginations.

Imagination is the key to creation and thus the universe of Creativity.
