Ch 1- Changes

Mai returns to her California home after being gone for weeks. Her apartment is a little dusty and she coughs and sways her hand around and over her mouth. "Man this place needs dusting." She throws her bike helmet on the floor and looks at her evil duel disk. She looks at it hard then rips it off her arm, takes the cards, and throws the disk across the room.

"Gawd I hate myself." She looked in the fridge, but everything had become rotten. She smirked then slammed the green fridge shut.

Still stressed from being that evil bad girl the seal made her be, she hardly could remember what she was planning on revenging Joey and his friends for. She decided, 'it's time to change myself before I become crazy'. So as a result she threw her black purse on the counter and headed to the bathroom, took scissors, and cut her hair to shoulder length then looked at herself in the mirror.

"I'm already gone crazy heh. They should just put you in a white room huh hun?"

She talked to herself and looked for something to change her image. She saw hair dye of all sorts of colors and picked them up. She could not pick any one color so she closed her eyes and dropped all but one box. "So I guess I'm going from blonde to light brown." She smiles, opens the box, and starts on her hair.

Hours later she went to get an artificial tan. Before she was against them, but she could care less now. When she walked out, she looked as if she had caramel colored skin. Even her make up was different.

What in the world in Mai thinking?!?!?

Has she gone mad?!?!? She already told herself that she should be in a white room. Maybe she is going mad. But nope, she was doing this to protect others from herself. She noticed that where ever she went since Battle City, she depended on people and that person would fall with her, especially Joey.

'Maybe if you clean your act up hun, you can be better.' She smiled and hugged her purse then saw a dueling card shop. She looked at the awesome harpie lady cards in the window but resisted. She wanted to quit dueling for a while. The harpie cards she had were fine anyways. More than half of her cards where under her mom's will to be given to her daughter.

She frowned at that thought. Remembering when her mother never came home right before her 9th birthday party. Since then, she flew solo. Mai was so busy remembering that she bumped into a guy by mistake.

"Owww. I'm sorry."

The guy turned around and looked at her. "Mianhamnida?"

Mai noticed he just said "I'm Sorry" in Korean; she had been studying in her free time. "Umm… Annyonghi kasayo" she told him good-bye and blushed walking off. She hated running into people like that. Then it hit her. A light bulb flew over her head. "That's it! I know where I can start over!" She rushes home to the computer, to find the next flight to South Korea.

Well that's all I got so far. I'm learning Korean and 2 other Asian languages on my own so I thought I'd put the Korean in. Heh tell me what you think. Keep it or lose it?

If i keep it and cont. then i shall let u know i might add a little more korean, but make it understandable and will be using a name of a real Kpop/Jpop girl group 'Jewelry' in chapter 2.
