It was normal day in the Sohma as Kisa was roaming about looking for someone to answer her question. She asked Hiro earlier but he didn't seem to know. " Hiro can I ask you a question?"
"Sure Kisa what is it?" he replied.
"Where do babies come from?" His face turned so red that it almost resembled a ripe tomato. His eyes widen in sock and his mouth was gaping like a fish out of water, trying to find the words to say. "Uh …well," was all he managed to say. Kisa stared at him with her head tilted, "it's okay Hiro I'll just ask someone else."
She eventually found Shigure sitting on his chair reading the paper. She approached him and called for his attention. He looked up from his paper to Kisa " What is it Kisa? What can uncle Shigure do for you?" So Kisa came out with her question hoping that he knew the answer. "Sit down Kisa and I'll tell you all need to know" She did as she was told and listened intently. " Now when mommy and daddy love each other very much they-"
"Oh no you don't you pervert!" Kyo shouted with at him as he covered Kisa's ears. "You are not scaring her mind by whatever it was you were going to say!"
"She just asked a ligament question. I think she has the right to know"
" Not if you're answering it!"
Tohru entered the room to see what was all the noise about. "onee-chan," Kisa said as she went to give Tohru a hug. "Shigure was going to tell me where babies came from." Tohru's face turned red like always when faced with an awkward situation. "I think this a question for Hatori since he is a doctor," she said, "Come Kisa let's go call him" Tohru held Kisa's hand as they left the room. Kyo went back to yelling at Shigure and Shigure saying something about better him than Ayame.
Tohru dialed Hatori's number and the phone rang a few times before he answered
"Hello?"
"Hatori this is Tohru, uh Kisa has a question for you." She gave the phone to Kisa
and she asked her question. Kisa didn't say much but a few okay's and when the
conversation ended she hung up the phone. " So what did he say?" Tohru asked.
Kisa replied, " he said that when a man and a woman are in love something special
happens and that's how the baby is made. He said that I'll understand better when I'm
older." Tohru was relieved that she could rely on Hatori for these things. "Onee-chan can
we go to the park and get icecream?"
"Sure let's go" she said with a smile as they made their way to the front door.
