Dipper pulled himself off the hard ground; he looked up and saw a man walk out of the gate. The man was looked beaten up, tattered, like a stray animal. He wore bandages around one arm, a brown trench coat, a scarf and goggles, both of which covered his face, The man bent down, placed his hand on the front of journal one and picked it up.

"Who is that?" Dipper asked

"The author of the journals… my brother." Stan said in answer. The man pulled off his goggles and face mask, revealing his face. He looked nearly identical to Stan.

The town was in ruin; a FBI agent pulled himself out of his wrecked vehicle and ran over to the taxi they had been chasing. He knelt down and looked inside, inside was the taxi driver, alive albeit barely Stanford pines was nowhere in sight. The agent sighed loudly, "Agent Trigger, Stanford Pines was not in the taxi, I repeat not in the taxi… Trigger? Agent Trigger!" he mumbled a cuss under his breath when he received no answer.

"Sir?" A Special ops agent came up behind him.

"Yes?" He answered, stood up, and spun around.

"Many of the men were injured in that gravitational anomaly. I also suspect that much of the town was injured. While catching Stanford Pines is top priority, the people of the town need aid." The Special ops agent said, motioning to the carnage around them.

Agent Powers nodded, "Yes. Lead your men into town and see the damage that has been done. Help those who need it."

"Yes sir!"

"The rest of you, we are heading back to the Mystery Shack to find Stanford Pines. Take all the necessary precautions; he is a violent and dangerous criminal who has proven himself to be even more resourceful than we originally thought."

"Stanley?" Stanford said, in a broken voice as he looked at his brother. Soos now lay, unconscious on the floor. Stanford pulled the other into a tight hug. Stanley seemed to be in a state of shock, while Stan was merely glad that his brother was okay.

Mabel looked over at her brother, who stared at the two. She reached her hand out and touched his arm, "Bro, bro? Are you mad at me?" He looked at her and said simply.

"I don't know."

Mabel looked down.

"Agent Trigger, there you are." Agent Powers said as he saw his partner walk up him.

"Fine, have we captured the convict yet?" Trigger asked and powers shook his head. "Damnit, we need to find him."

"I suspect that he has returned to the Mystery Shack." Powers said, pointing down the road. Trigger almost asked why they weren't driving down their already when he noticed that the road was covered in piece of debris and various tree branches. It would take them hours to clear it.

"I guess Stanford Pines is going to have to wait then." Trigger said, his partner nodded dejectedly, unhappy with the outcome but powerless to stop it.

A young woman sat alone in a forest. The forest was odd, like nothing on earth. The leaves deep blue in colour, with small diamond like leaves. The swamp around her was odd as well, with water black, bubbling, emitting a nauseating smell, like decomposing flesh.

She giggled; her face broke into a too wide grin: "30 years and now he's back, the mystery in the Mystery Shack." Her voice sounded light and giddy.

"This should be fun."
