Title: Accidental confession.

Rating: T for swearing and guys kissing. Stupid reason but I don't care.

Summary: Roy and Ed stayed late at work and have to close everything up. Ed has other ideas. ONE-SHOT

Roy turned out the last of the lights and grabbed his jacket off the hook. He and Ed had worked late that night and now they were locking up for tonight. He turned half around and looked down the empty halls.

"Are you done locking up, Fullmetal?" He shouted.

He waited for a response, but only got silence. He raised a brow and started back down the hallway.

'This is odd.' the colonel thought, 'ordinarily; he wouldn't hesitate to give me an answer. Even if it was some smart-ass remark.'

After a while he heard muttering coming from one of the rooms he was passing, so pressed his ear against the door to hear it better.

Just as he thought, it was Fullmetal. He sighed in annoyance and opened the door quietly. Now hearing Edward's words more clearly.

"Colonel, I just wanted to tell you that-no, that sounds stupid. Hey, colonel you got a minute? It's important. No, I wouldn't be able to do it that way. I gotta do this though. Why can't I just admit to him that I love him? Well, doesn't matter anyway. He wouldn't have believed me if I did tell him."

Roy smirked and walked behind him quietly before speaking.

"He might if you had chosen a more up-front way of telling him," he said casually.

Edward jumped in surprise and turned around quickly, a light blush painting his face. Roy just stood there with that smirk still intact on his face.

"H-how long have you been here?" Ed stammered, his blush growing deeper.

"Long enough. So you love me, eh? I knew I was a ladies man but I didn't know even the guys wanted me. Now then, what to do about you." Roy said coolly.

Edward's eyes widened and the redness on his face was only beaten by the redness of his jacket.

"I'm sorry! I'll forget all about this! I won't tell anyone, not even my brother! Just please don't be mad!" Edward said quickly.

"Whoa, take it easy there, Fullmetal. No one said I was mad at you." Roy responded calmly.

Ed looked up at him in surprise and Roy pressed his lips to the blonde's own mouth. It was a short kiss and once they broke apart Ed wasn't blushing anymore.

"Okay, I'm confused now. Didn't you just say you were a ladies man?" Ed asked.

"Uh-huh." Roy confirmed with a nod.

"Then how can you be gay?" Ed asked in shock.

"I'm not gay." Roy responded, smirk still in place.

Ed said nothing, so Roy continued.

"I'm Bi. If you ever want to go any further, you know where to find me." He said smugly.

With that the colonel turned out of the room and disappeared. Ed stood there in a stupefied silence before finally walking out himself. He knew one thing for certain; work was definitely going to be interesting tomorrow.

A.Q.: Done, this one-shot turned out a lot better then my Ichi/Ishi one-shot did. A little odd since I don't like shipping this pairing. It was still a lot of fun though. Hope you likey, and don't ask for a sequel or another chapter. You guys aren't getting one. Good night people! Once again, I wrote another fan fiction at some horrid hour of the night. (XD)
