Love You Forever

This is my first poem for Beauty and the Beast. I do not own the lyrics and the script of some of the lines used out of the movie or the Broadway play. Disney owns them. I only add the thoughts of the characters. This poem is written for Belle and Prince Christopher looking back when they first fell in love as Belle and the Beast.

There was something sweet and almost kind,

But you were mean and you were coursed and unrefined…

"You should learn to control you temper," I said with anger in my voice and then I realized at that moment before I would have lost my life to a pack of wolves in the woods .If you did not risk your life to save mine.

…But now you're dear and so unsure

I wonder why I didn't see it there before

You glanced this way

I thought I saw and you touched you didn't shutter at my paw

No it can't be I'll just ignore…

"I never felt this way about anyone .I want to do something for her but what?" I had to turn to Lumiere and Cogsworth for advice. Cogs worth suggested flowers and chocaltes like promises that you don't intead to keep. Lumiere being the romantic that he was that would spark your interest at heart. Then I had all the servants clean and make the grand library look wonderful as a surprise. The look on your face when you saw the grand library that was when I had started falling for you my princess

…But then you never looked at me

That way before

New and a bit alarming

Who could ever thought that this could be

True that you're no prince charming …

Mrs. Potts tried to keep reassuring me to get to know you a little better. That night in the ballroom was we actually had our first romantic diner together. I didn't want the night to end and when I asked you to dance with me .You looked like you hadn't danced in a long time but as the night went on I started to fall in love with you. The song Mrs. Potts sang was the most beautiful that could describe the way we had both felt about each other when we first met.

…But there was something in you

That I simply couldn't see

When I had heard that Gaston was going to kill you all I could do was get to the castle in time. I made it to the castle in time when Gaston had hurt you all I knew was I had to make it to the West wing in time. "Beast," I called out you name and came up to me and touched my face I knew I had found where I belonged.

"Please, please don't leave me …I love you," I remember saying to you when I thought you were lost to me forever.

I thought no one would break the spell but Belle you were the one for me. You had come to love me besides my beastly look. When I had returned to my human form at first my princess you couldn't recognize me, but as you looked into my deep blue eyes …you finally saw the beast with in the man before you. As we kissed it had felt so right and I was a changed prince and Belle you are my princess and I will love you forever and for always.

Christopher as you princess I Belle will also love you forever and for always.
