i wrote this poem while ago, i dunno if its good or not, i just wanted some feedback. thanks so much!
Pray
As I lay me down to sleep
I pray the lord my soul to keep
And if I die before I wake
I pray my soul the crow to take
A shadow will walk among us
Revenge to be sought above the grave
Dressed in black from head to toe
For hell must be paid
Raised from the depths of sorrow
True love he lost this day
A year has past, no wounds to be healed
The murderous blood too spill he craves
A tap tap tapping on the door
Who could it be?
Allow me to show you
What it is to have a bad dream
Paint my face to be hidden
Let them not see my weakness but hate
It will be the last thing the shall ever see
As the beg on there knees for forgivness
On this night I will spill there blood
Not a drop left to be smelled or seen
An angel with wings of pain
Your death I will bring
