Beginning in November 1981, a strange presence was reported in the woods near the village of [REDACTED], which caused sickness and death in animals and frightened village children. A local witch believed the cause to be supernatural and reported it to the magical section of the Sigurimi, in case it was caused by counterrevolutionary foreign agents seeking to undermine Albanian autonomy.

An agent was sent and, upon encountering resistance, called in reinforcements. An amorphous insubstantial entity was successfully confined after much effort and brought into custody for questioning.

It at first displayed poor compliance and refused to answer questions. After interrogation, it admitted to being the Dark Lord Voldemort and claimed its goal was to take over the world. After extensive further interrogation, it admitted to being a British wizard named Tom Riddle and confessed its goal was to regain its body. After prolonged further interrogation, it admitted to being a foreign counterrevolutionary agent and agreed that its goal was to make the pain stop.

From then on its conduct was satisfactory and it provided valuable intelligence on British Wizarding society, including blackmail material on many prominent wizards. Pending an effective means of disposal, it is being reeducated and retrained as a potential recruit for the Sigurimi, as its temperament seems suitable and its bodiless nature has great potential for spying applications. Prospects are promising.
