If you were to look at us you would realize that there is nothing holding us together. Perhaps, that is what makes us special, the fact that we are all on different ends of life's thread. However, there is something that connects us to each other, only one thing. Tennis. We all play tennis, with and against each other. Across the Kanto Region we are part of the top teams and have managed to meet each other at one point or another. However, we are still different from each other. Take for example Atobe; he is the rich heir to a firm his father owns and Tezuka, who is one of the most humble, polite, modest people. They get along pretty well soley for the fact that they share a sport. Another pair is Fuji and Eiji, Eiji is loud and enjoys attention and the spotlight, while Fuji, is more laid back and shies away from any attention, but they are extremely good friends due to tennis. That's the pattern in our sport; people who come from different walks of life and lifestyles find people from the other end of their spectrum and form a camaraderie. You could say however being regulars in our respective teams is a form of exclusiveness in tennis. It is expected for you to meet the same opponents time and time again due to the fact that they are interesting and bring something new to the courts every time. It's hard for a new regular to join the family .Yes family, most teams meet up after the tournaments and teams come across each other in Tokyo and end up spending their afternoons together. It's funny how the stark contrast between each other doesn't stop us from being friends, and partners with each other. So yeah, there is nothing that holds us together except the fact that we all have the same passion for a sport.
