We're What!
A/N: This is just a short little ditty that came through my head as I was reading some of the James and Harry stories. Hope you enjoy! Also, I have not forgotten about The Season, it's just that the life of a high school actress is very difficult and very busy.
Disclaimer: It would be absolutely beautiful if I didn't have to work a regular job, and could just goof off all the time, but I'm not a wealthy author. Therefore the characters are Jo's and the plot is mine.
James sat at the kitchen table skimming through his newest quidditch magazine. "I still can't believe that England didn't win the first match!"
"James, you need to stop obsessing over that. It's getting a bit out of hand." Said Remus.
"Says you." Retorted James.
Remus opened up his mouth to reply, but all of a sudden the fireplace turned a sparkling green and Sirius stepped out, his head bent over a little beeping device.
"What on earth is that?" asked Remus, looking oddly at the device in Sirius's hands.
Without looking up Sirius said "It's a Gameboy. It's a muggle device that you play games on. It's bloody brilliant! Anyway, where's Lily? My apartment is all out of food, and I'm hungry."
James looked bemused at Remus and shook his head before replying "She's at St. Mungos. Said she hasn't been feeling well lately so she wanted to see a healer."
Remus stared at James. "Why aren't you there with her? You are her husband!"
"I know that! But she told me to stay here and make sure you two didn't blow up the house when you inevitably came over!" James cried.
"Well that doesn't change the fact that I'm hungry and there is no food in front of me!" Sirius yelled over the two of them.
Remus turned to look at Sirius. "You have legs, and you know where the food is kept. We aren't your slaves who have to do everything you say."
"Yes you do." Sirius said without even looking up from his game.
For the second time that day, the fireplace turned green and Lily walked out. "Glad to see that my house is still intact and the furniture hasn't been completely destroyed."
"Lily!" cried out the three men sitting at the table.
"Can you make me some food?"
"Remus thinks that I'm stupid for caring about a six-month old quidditch match!"
"How was your appointment?
Lily sighed. "Sirius, no I will not make you food, you are a fully functioning adult, James, the match between England and Iran is over and there is nothing you can do about it, and Remus, thank you for asking, my appointment went very well."
"What did the healer say?" James asked concernedly.
Lily shrugged. "He gave me a clean bill of health, said that everything was completely normal and that there was nothing wrong with me."
"Nothing wrong with you? How is throwing up every morning, being overly-tired, having to pee every hour, and headaches when we're not even around normal?" James asked annoyed.
"Lily are you-" Remus started in shock.
Lily nodded her head with a small smile on her face.
James stood up. "Are you what Lily?"
"Pregnant, James." Lily said in a quiet voice.
"You, you're, we're…" James said before passing out in a heap on the floor.
"Well certainly wasn't expecting that news. Now can I please have a sandwich?" said Sirius.
A/N: Well I hope you enjoyed this little ditty. Please leave a review. I do just have one request however: Give me constructive criticism, not flames! Thanks!
