Chapter 1

Marcus' P.O.V

The final day has passed and it was our time to pay our visit to our old friends. The Cullen's. We entered the clearing, the guard hot on our trails. When we stopped there was a very strange silence that was soon filled with the voice of Carlisle Cullen. I began to ignore the commotional debating. My thought then drifted off to the more peaceful, loving memory's of my true love, Mary-Lynn.

It was hard to deny it, it was love at first sight. the first glimpse I got of her was her beautiful blond hair that made me some what curious. I was married at the time with a temporary mate. She was just there to satisfy me though. I ended up following this stranger. When we first looked into each others eyes I knew then she was my true-mate. Her crystal blue eye's made it so clear that she wanted me too. I soon found out what she was though. she was an angel, that was actually from heaven itself. she told me how everything is real, god, angels and hell.

Our time together became limited as Aro became suspicious. so far he is the only one who knows about her and my other little angel that was quite unexpected.

I soon found out that I had gotten Lynn pregnant. she told me that she had to go to heaven and will come back when it was time. she came back once raven was born. every so often Aro will let me travel myself to go meet them. Raven is special, she is the only angel in heave with pure black wings, leading to how she got her name. She had my red eyes, which gave her a glint of mischief. My little angel had all the strengths and speed of a new born vampire. faster than any vampire I have ever met. The last time I say her thought was last year on her 5th birthday.

I was taken out of my thoughts when thunder and lightning started furiously in the air. I remember a fact the was told to me by my love.

'when the thunder claps god snaps, and when lightning calls an angel falls'

I touched Aro's hand to et him know off the poem I was taught, he raised his eyebrows in wonder. before seeing how worried I was for my angels. he knew that they were hiding this knowledge from god but it would not stay silent for long.

The thunder became louder and the lightning flashed at the tree's threatening a fire, we got lucky though.

After the last thunder clap a huge, and I mean giant flash of lightning hit the ground right in between us and the Cullen's.

What I saw next sent horror through me. Lying on the ground was a bundle of black feathers and a crying figure. Then the fact rushed through my mind 'the only angel ever to have black wings.'

I grabbed Aro's hand to tell him who it was, he gasped at the knew knowledge "oh my"

-Carlisle Cullen began to walk out to her but I got there first. I took her into my arms. One of her wings were broken, it was totally miss bent. I could feel all eyes on me now but I really didn't care anymore, the only this I cared about was the little angel in my arms.
