The sun was warm in the noon sky and Naruto was in all honesty bored out of his mind. That teme Sasuke had stood him up on training and needless to say the Number One Hyper Active Ninja of Kohana was bristling with anger. Kicking the ground he allowed his gaze to wander to the Hokage mountain. "That Teme….he always dose this "Naruto muttered kicking a rock at his feet. Sighing he decided he better head home and call it a day, he was off of missions to recover from a D-ranked mission and would be off duty for another week or so. All and all it looked like a rather bland week. He knew that something was up but couldn't place his finger on it, rather than pondering on the matter her continued on his journey back home. Along the way he noticed a single Snow Egret in a field its brilliant white plumage was standing out starkly against the vast green.
Sasuke was walking by the field on his way to town to get some vegetables from the town market, true he had stood the Dobe up and rather than having to apologize he just didn't show up at all. Looking over he noticed Naruto watching something and tilted his head "Is he watching that Snow Egret?" he asked himself caring none the less he continued on. A few hours later he returned and noticed Naruto still standing there. Shaking his head he walked over and spoke" Are you Watching that Snow Egret?" he asked casually. Naruto nodded and continued gazing at the bird "well what on earth for?" Sasuke asked. Shrugging Naruto turned "Because it's alone, and nothing should know the pain of loneliness." He replied looking back just in time to see another Egret land. Walking off Sasuke shook his head" Dobe where are you going?" he demanded and followed "It's not alone anymore so it's ok" Naruto replied with a grin. Sasuke shook his head and laughed slightly that was Naruto for you unpredictable as always. Catching up Sasuke put his hand on the younger boys shoulder. "Naruto, you want to have dinner with me to night?" he asked as Naruto eyes widened in shock. Seeing his opportune moment Sasuke swept down and gently kissed Narutos lips, they stayed like that for a good minute. Narutos eyes widened then her melted in to the kiss it felt so right, softly he returned it and as Sasuke broke it he was left breathless. "Well Dobe you coming or not?" Sasuke said with a smirk kissing him again. Naruto smiled and nodded "Yeah, I'm Coming Sasuke teme, I'm coming." Just as the two of them left the Snow Egrets took flight.
