"Hey, onee-chan, wake up...!" Kadeyi whispered, shaking Shiori awake. "Baka-kun... Five more minutes!" Shiori mumbled, throwing the pillow over her head. "But, you go move with Mister Tsukaska and all the other's in Forget-me-not Valley..." Kadeyi said, her voice quiet. Shiori remained still under the pillow until she heard the door open and close. She then threw the pillow over her shoulder and sat up. "B-but I don't want to leave..." she whispered quietly, tears beginning to flow. She quickly wiped them and walked over to her wardrobe. She unbottoned her nightgown slowly, reserving all the time she could. "Why are they doing this to me...?"

"You're too much of a hassle!"
"You must go live with your God-father until this is all over!"
"But I don't want to go!"
"It doesn't matter, this doesn't require your opinion,"

"Well Shiori, are you all packed up?" Kazuki asked, forcing a smile onto her face. "Yes, Mother..." Shiori muttered, pushing her suitcase in the car and sliding in beside it. The car rumbled, and started. Shiori looked out the window at the neighboring homes. She seen the mother of the neighboring house beckon her chilren inside, sending a dirty look towards the car. Shiori knew all too well that she wasn't wanted in her hometown. She was, 'the bad child', the 'destructive teen'.
The neighbors were somewhat afriad of her, never letting thier children play with Shiori. It was because she was different. Everyone thought she was odd. She seldomly walked up to people and started a conversation, and she would only speak when she was spoken to. Shiori watched as the scenery began to blur as the car picked up speed. "Shiori... I know this is hard for you, and your father and I, we-"
"Mom, I don't care. This is your choice to drop me off to some stranger, so I don't want to hear your sympathy now!" Shiori shouted, then she clapped her hands over her mouth. If they weren't in a car, Shiori would have recieved a firm slap in the face. It was always like that. Back talk, mouthing off and such were forbidden in Shiori's family. Shiori sunk in her seat. She would probably be struck to the ground when they got to Mister Tsukaska's house. A farm at the front of a forest. That would seem like a vacation for anyone, execpt Shiori. She enjoyed studying, reading and writing. But working on a farm wasn't one of her hobbies. She pushed her glasses up from the middle of her nose. She always had glasses, ever since she was a kid. People made fun of her for it. But she couldn't help it if she had bad eyesight, she was only a powerless 13 year old. She sighed and closed her eyes, hoping to get some sleep. She had layed in her bed for hours last night, staring at the ceiling. 'I wonder if I'll meet anyone there that might be friends with me,' Shiori wondered. with that, her thoughts drifted away from her, and she fell into a soft sleep.
