As She Remembers
A ship built of beauty
That's now a distant memory
Lying in a dark and lonely graveyard
Nothing but her memories that lie along with her
Memories of that tragic night
As she remembers speeding towards her tragic fate
And the pain that took her as she hit
She remembers the woman being parted from their loved one
Leaving for safety and a new life
She remembers all the children that died along with her
She remembers the screams and the fear
That was spurn upon all
As she was lowered into the water she felt the coldness
That would became her new fortress
As the lifeboats left the terror
All grieved for their losses
All wondered about the new life that would take hold
As she went under she began a new life
