Beauty queen of only eighteen
She had some trouble with herself
He was always there to help her
She always belonged to someone else

Katara, 18 years of age, sat on the rich red of the golden lined bed that adorned her and her husband's room. If you took one look at her, you'd see a beautiful girl, very happy and healthy.

Yet the fools who judged her by her appearance were dead wrong. The smiles that lit up the room were forced, and the happy nature went down the same path. She was healthy, but not mentally.

I drove for miles and miles
And wound up at your door
I've had you so many times but somehow
I want more

A sudden knock on the polished wooden that acted as a gate way to the hall next to her door awoken her to her senses.

"Who's there?" She inquired, reflexively grabbing her pouch filled with bendable water.

"Take a guess," A familiar voice said. Katara gasped lightly. The voice that seemed so young a while ago had matured into that of a young man's.

"Just a second!" She pleaded, grabbing the nearest towel on the dresser to wipe the dried up tears that had recently been running down her face. Once checking she looked decent into the mirror that towered over her, she raced toward the door to let the unexpected visitor enter.

There he was. Tall, thin, and muscular, Avatar Aang walked into the room, staring avidly at her.

"Hello," He said, bowing slightly, still keeping eye contact. Katara, frankly, shriveled under his look, turning into a mear pile of mush. "It's been a while."

"Yeah, it has. So, what brings you out to the Fire Nation?" She asked, sitting on a chair and gesturing he do the same. He obeyed quietly.

"I heard you were getting married and..." He trailed off, too heart-broken to continue.

"Would you like a drink?" She asked, breaking the awkward silence between them like a knife.

With a silent nod from the Avatar confirming it, she reached into the cabinet leaning against the wall for a a bottle of Fire Nation Folly. It was like whisky, only blood red.

She then spotted next to the bottle named "Seducery". She looked at the bottle strangely, then realized that these were the pills that got her into this mess. She took them hesitantly.

Katara looked at the wondering eyed Avatar, clearly thinking hard. She could...so she would.

"What's that your holding?" The Avatar inquired, clearly noticing the bottle. Katara jumped slightly, clearly embarrassed.

"Nothing! Nothing at all..." She then handed him the drink.

He thanked her, than drank it whole. He then suddenly lowered the glass, his pupils dilated. His head swayed from left to right slightly. He then smiled goofily. He tried to get up, but the pill placed into his drink made him fall onto the bed.

Katara grinned. She wanted ONE night with the man she loved, before she had to go back into the darkness of having no love in her husband.

She knew how she was going to spend it too.
