Okay, so I don't remember where I got the idea, but a fanfictioner from the SVTFOE section requested a fic about Star and Ferguson's bet in her fic. If you're reading this, then I hope this is of your liking!

For the rest of you, read and review, and enjoy too if you want.

(Diaz Household, Star's Bedroom)

Star and Marco sat on the couch, watching some random TV shows.

"So, Star, you told me back when you got Mewberty that you handed Ferguson the spell book because you lost a bet with him." Marco remarked. "Care to tell me how that happened?"

Star flinched and scratched the back of her head as she remembered. "Uh, well..."

(Some days ago, before Brittney's birthday party)

A worried Ferguson walked to a happy Star, who was looking at Brittney handing invitations from far away, and got her attention when he asked, "Star, are you sure you want to go to Brittney's party?"

"Of course! What better way to become friends with Brittney than by going to her annual birth celebration!" Star enthusiastically answered.

"But her birthday parties are terrible: They're all about how she's superior to us or how she's richer than we could ever hope to be." Ferguson stated. "Really, they're so terrible that the only way they could be good is if you used your magic to make them better."

"Oh come on, I'm pretty sure they can't be that bad." Star responded with a dismissive handwave.

Her response got on Ferguson's curiosity, and the boy got an idea. "Wanna make a bet?"

Star tilted her head to the left in confusion, "What's a bet?"

"It's like truth or dare, only a bit more competitive." Ferguson said before explaining, "Simply put, One of us-that'll be me-will say their terms and the other one-that is you-will try to follow those terms. If you fail to follow those terms, you have to give me something. If you win... Uh, is it fine if I buy you a pizza?"

"Yay!" an enthusiastic Star replied. "So, what are the terms?"

"Okay, the terms are simple: since you say that Brittney's birthday party isn't so bad, and I think the only way that can be possible is that you use your magic to make it better, you'll go to her birthday party-"

"And what if she doesn't invite me?"

"Oh come on, we both know you'll be invited one way or another."

"True."

"So anyway, you'll go to her party, and you must go through the whole party WITHOUT using your magic." Ferguson explained. "If you succeed, I'll buy you a pizza, and if you fail, you'll give me your magic spell book."

"Why the book?"

"I'm curious about that thing, I think I saw some blue guy being sucked inside and I want to see if he's there or not." Ferguson extended his hand afterwards, "Anyway, do we have a bet?"

Star didn't even respond, instead she cheerfully shook hands with Ferguson and immediately went to try and get invited when she finished.

(Post-Brittney's Birthday Party)

An upset Star rested her head on her locked locker, and she sighed as Ferguson noticed her and walked to the girl. "Hi Star! So, how did the party go?"

"I made it better with my magic." Star answered, taking a deep breath before quickly adding, "And Ludo and his goonies appeared and some other stuff happened, but most importantly, I made the party better with my magic."

The victorious Ferguson cheered, "Uh huh! Just like I predicted! Now hand over the book."

Star sighed and took out the book from her back. "Ugh, promise me that next time you give me a bet, tell me to not accept it."

"I can promise you that I can't promise that!"

(Back at the present)

"And that's how the bet went." Star finished.

With that said, the girl looked away and blushed as Marco gave her a surprised look. "Star, you can be such a moron sometimes."
