Everything was just as he had left it. But now, dusty.
The summer-sun had made the room hot.
Matthew opened the window. Sat down on his son's bed.
But no tears.
Colin's desk was filled with photos.
Robe-dressed girls and boys waved, smiled, laughed.

Matthew sorted the photographs.
Needed somewhere to put them. Box, Colin's wardrobe.
But the box wasn't empty.
More photos.
Of Colin. Happy, smiling Colin.
Photos of another boy. Happy, smiling boy.
