At first he loved her as a sister. They were good friends.
And then he started seeing her as something more. The way her spiky black hair moved, and the way her electric blue eyes pierced his heart every time he saw them.
At first she was wary of him and his ways. She thought he was going to hurt her. But she came to trust him like a brother.
Then, she started noticing, his blonde hair and his bright smile, that made her heart ache.
They saved each others lives, countless of times. Always backing each other up.
But always knowing what dangerous fate awaited each.
Then came the terrible last stand.
And he could only watch her from afar. Watch her die, and he could do nothing about it.
She thought she was helping him, protecting them all, but in reality, she hurt them so much, more than she realised. By going away, she hurt him the most. He couldn't bear it. He had nothing else to stand for.
She couldn't have saved him, even if she tried. She couldn't have stopped it from happening. By the time she came back, he was gone.
And there was nothing she could do.
Because he, was gone.
