General Grievous is dead. Anakin has told Master Windu that Palpatine has reveal that he is the Sith Lord, Sidious. Mace Windu and his fellow Masters make their way to the Chancellor's office. "Master Windu, I hear the General Grievous has been destroyed then. I must admit you're here sooner then expected." "By order of the Galactic Senate of the Republic, you are under arrest, Chancellor." "Are you threatening me, Master Jedi?" "The Senate will decide your fate." "I AM the Senate." "Not yet!" Sidious rises and reveals a lightsaber from his sleeve and ignites it, "It's treason, then." Sidious begins his attack. Kit Fisto and another Master are killed, but Sidious and Windu keep fighting. As the fight continues, Anakin meets then there. As Sidious and Windu break the office window and Sidious loses his weapon, he's kicked. As Sidious scurries to a edge of the window, Anakin approaches. "You are under arrest, my lord." Windu sees Anakin approaches and motions him to freeze. "Anakin, I told you it will come to this. The Jedi are taking over." "The oppression of the Sith will never. You have lost!' Sidious disagrees and Force lightening protrudes from his fingers. "He's the traitor." Windu objects, "He's the traitor, Anakin" Windu blocking the lightening at his best. The deflected lightening was disfiguring the Dark Lord. "I have the power to save the one you love." "Don't listen to him, Anakin." "Don't let him kill me." Sidious pleads for his life. Windu ensures his position, "I'm going to end this, once and for all." "On that, I agree." Anakin turns his head. "If you'll allow me, Master." Worf came and threw his d'k'tagh at the Chancellor. "Not again." Sidious says. Worf approaches him and plunges it deeper. He then removes the d'k'tagh and slices the Chancellor's throat in the circle, decapitating him. "Today is a good day to die, for him and his followers."
An hour later, Mas Amedda takes control of the Senate. Worf beams to his office. "Who are you?" "I am Worf, from the Starship Enterprise and I have a gift for you." Worf brought with him a barrel of bloodwine. "Please." Worf hands a cup to the new leader. As Mas Amedda takes a few ounces, he sees the head of the Chancellor. No eyes, or tongue, or teeth. "Now, the Senate can be at peace with the death of Sidious. If you prove to be unworthy of leadership, I will kill you as well." Worf then disappears. Mas Amedda vomits.
A trial for Anakin's disobedient breaking of the Jedi Code results in his removal of his place on the Council. Anakin later joins Starfleet.
