Anyways... this poem I wrote two nights ago. It's inspired by Bella at the beginning of New Moon though it's completely translatable to other situations.
So for your reading pleasure, I present Moonless Night by me, Ashley. haha
Being without you
Is like a moonless night
Without the moon
The stars refuse to shine bright
The sky is empty
And feels oh so dead
My feelings for you
I wish I had said

But if you returned
The moon would come back out
The stars would be rejoiced
They would sparkle about
Shining down on us
It would be just you and me
Now and forever
Though it may never be
--
The new moon will occur
But I will not renew
You may feel different about me
But I will always love you
The promise you made
It will be like you never exist
How can that be?
Every bit of you I miss
--
The day you left
To give me a new start
You never thought once
What it would do to my heart
In it's place a hole
Left as a painful memory
Of what once had been
It aches and tears through me

I don't know where to start
Or if I even want to begin
Living with you
It feels like a terrible sin
If I was normal
This wouldn't hurt so badly
But you should know me
I would not take this gladly

I had you and lost you
And now I sit all alone
The time ticks by
I've slowly turned to stone
Bring back my moon
Why don't you bring back my smile?
Just as long as you say
You'll stay for a while
