"Jaaaaaaaney~!" Roxy called as she strolled into the house. "Heeeeeeey, Papa Crockerrrr!" She waved to Jane's dad as she waltzed up the stairs, "Jaaaaaaane… Don't leav your geustsies waitin! Janey, I've missed yoi…"
She stopped and corrected herself, then continued to look for Jane.
A door opened next to her and Jane popped her head out, "Um, Roxy… Give me a minute or two… I'm almost ready to give you your present…"
"Janey!" Roxy gasped in surprise, "You didn't need to get me a present!"
Jane opened the door up all the way, grabbed Roxy by her shirt and kissed her, her cheeks tinting red and her eyes shut tight.
When they finally broke apart, Roxy smiled brightly, "Damn, Janey."
