Lying here

Spread-eagle, open to the sky – the stars burn

Words fall from lips like pearls

Grains of dirt bound up in beauty

Reposed, a caricature of intimacy, lent only to the feeble

Weak enough to take your silvered tongue

Call it truth

Call it real

The halo of a saint, hair splayed on pillow

A pity that the cloven horns have no simile

Smile; lend a gleam to the facade of love

Lie to me

As I lie here.

A/N: This just came to me tonight, Its only short..but it sums up Snape to me. Whether he is the liar or the one being lied to, I leave up to you. I would love to hear how people interpret it and what they think...so please leave reviews! Much thanks xx
