Bella sat looking out the window, a thoughtful look on her perfect face. Edward came over to her, his skin starting to sparkle just as hers was in the sunlight.
"Anything wrong, love?" he asked, concern burning in his honey-gold eyes.
Bella turned to gaze lovingly at him before replying "I was just thinking about changing my name, actually. I mean, 'Bella' just doesn't seem good enough for someone as amazing and talented as me."
Edward nodded seriously before asking what name she had chosen.
"I was thinking about Mary Sue actually." Bella admitted. "because I was thinking about how amazing it is that I'm immune to some vampire powers, have the hottest guy around as my soul mate, plenty of other men drooling after me, a perfect and specially gifted daughter, that I never had to go through the newborn stage, am now incredibly graceful, still manage to look gorgeous without being obsessed with clothes, my family still accept me even though I'm a vampire, I united the vampires and werewolves, was willing to give up my life at a second's notice for you and the name just popped into my head." She suddenly looked worried. "Oh Edward, do you like it? Of COURSE I'll choose something else if you don't!"
But Edward shook his head. "no love, it sounds perfect."
"Maybe we can add it to Renesmee's name as well! Renesmee Mary Carlie Sue Cullen!" Bella laughed, her voice tinkling like wind chimes. And so the happy couple held hands and ran straight over to the house with their amazing speed and told the family about their news. Everyone agreed that it was a wonderful choice, especially Renesmee who of course told them through her special method.
All except for Alice, who had a concerned look on her face. Mary Sue…hadn't she heard that before?
