Joy
I was sitting in my room working on my latest project when I heard someone call my name. ''Joy". I knew that voice. It was the voice of the man I yearned for. Fabian. Ever since him and Nina got together all hope of me and him being together had diminished. I still secretly love him but I won't try and break them up.
Its the end of the term so graduation for us seniors of Anubis is close. When I reached the foyer downstairs, Fabian was holding something behind his back and had a smile plastered on his face like its been stuck like that for ages. " Yeah Fabes?" "I have something to ask you." "Okay" What he's doing doesn't register until I finally see he's on one knee and saying the words I have always dreamed of him saying;"I love you Joy, will you marry me?" " Yes, Yes, A billion times yes!" My smile quickly disappears. "Wait, what about Nina?!" "I broke up with her." My smile is back. Then he picks me up bridal style and is about to kiss me until Victor walks in with Corbierre honking?
I wake up to realize (JABIANS LEAVE NOW!) it was just a dream. Corbierre honking? My alarm. Me and Fabes getting married? Yeah right. He doesn't love me the way he loves Nina. As I walk over to the window I notice a boy and a girl talking. Of course its Nina and Fabian. The tears don't start falling until after she says yes to the question he's supposed to be asking me. The four words that broke my heart. "Will you marry me?" I fall on my bed in an instant. Why can't I be the one to have a happy ever after? Why did I have to get taken away? This could've been mine! But no, the stupid ass universe wants to see me get chewed up and spat out. Very well, I Joy Mercer am no moper! I will have my happy ending! Besides I've kind of suspected that Mick has had a crush on me. And I am certain I feel the same way!
