A baby's cry rang throughout the dark house.
"Mmm… Is it your turn or my turn…?" Yuzu mumbled.
"Yours…" Mei replied sleepily. Mei gave Yuzu a sharp push causing the blond to fall off the bed.
"Alright, Alright… No need for the pushing." Yuzu yawned leaving the room. Mei smiled to herself.
Yuzu walked towards the source of the crying in a separate room. Their loyal German Pinscher, watched as Yuzu approached the crib. Even their silky short haired kitten watched lazily from a far. "Shhh..." Yuzu patted the dog softly on his head and scratched that back of the cats neck.
Yuzu turned towards the baby "Come on Mikoto…" Yuzu reached into the crib and held the one years old close. Yuzu brushed aside the infant's brown hair revealing bright green eyes matching Yuzu's.
"Mmm… You're probably hungry huh?" Yuzu smiled at the infant as it babbled.
Yuzu giggled and looked at the time, it was 3 in the morning. "Well, good thing I don't have to work tomorrow…"
Yuzu rocked the baby. Supporting her head, but also keeping her close to her body as she walked downstairs.
The baby had quieted down as she felt Yuzu's soft touch and warm body. Yuzu sat on the couch and pulled down her shirt in order to let her daughter feed.
Slowly the baby nestled in and started slurping breast milk from Yuzu. Yuzu smiled as the baby completely stopped crying.
"You're really good at that…" Mei stated walking down stairs.
Yuzu smiled. "It's nothing, just gotta give her mama's milk every now and then."
Mei sat next to Yuzu and laid her head on Yuzu's shoulders. "I mean you're good at being a mother."
With her free hand Yuzu wrapped her arm around Mei and kissed the top of her head. "So are you."
Mei chuckled and blushed. She looked over at their child suckling on Yuzu's nipples. Years ago, Mei could have never pictured herself as a mother, she could never have pictured herself happy with a family, but here she was with the love of her life, and their daughter.
"Babe you have work tomorrow, you should go back to bed." Yuzu spoke half heartedly not wanting her wife to leave.
"It's ok." Mei took Mikoto when she was finished eating and began rocking her to sleep. When she was sure the baby was sound asleep she gently stretched out on the couch and laid the baby on her. "Come here…"
Yuzu smiled and laid next to Mei on the couch with one hand wrapped around Mei and their child.
"Hey…" Mei whispered
"Hmm, my love?" Yuzu replied sleepily
"Let's have more." Mei grinned, as Yuzu blushed deeply.
