"Oi!Get back to work yeah? Otherwise you ain't having no water for a week!", shouted one of the guards.I had let go of my towel to scratch my arm for a couple of seconds and I got shouted at. You see this is one of the reasons we all hate this place.

Here it's called an orphanage, but in my opinion it should be called a prison. We're all like slaves here—well all of the kids anyway, all of the adults give us commands and beat us up when the slightest mistake is made. That's why it's always horrible watching the new kids arrive: they don't know how the system works so they always make mistakes.

I'm the oldest here, well me and my friend Morgan are, and we always get blamed for everything that happens. One day we spilled water on one of the guards because the one behind us was smacking us with the handle of his punishment was to sit on the roof(which is not flat) and stay there for six whole days with no food or had no pity on only one I kind of like is Alfred who brings us food and drinks and he's the only one who doesn't beat us up.

I forgot to say this is a factory in London and we have to do pretty tiring jobs and sometimes we have to climb up the top of the machines to clean them. Weirdly Morgan and I are the only ones who are capable of pulling ourselves up and 's like we were born to do it.

Another weird power- thing is that sometimes (rarely) we can see the guards through the walls. It's really cool but really weird.

One Monday just after lunch break, which lasted about two seconds, one of the other kids,Isaac, found a wanted poster of two intriguing people— Jacob and Evie Frye. Looked quite posh and they had swords and guns. At the bottom of the page it says they are mostly found climbing on rooftops or hiding in bushes. A price of £3000 was the reward for finding them.

"Hey, I swear we saw them when we were on the roof", Morgan said in an exited voice.

"I don't remember 'em", I said.

"We saw them near the port! Come on Justin, how could you not remember such cool people."Oh yeah, Justin is my name.

After that, one of the guards snatched the poster from us and told us to get back to work.

After a couple of hours I heard that one of the guards were going to execute a child for trying to escape. It was so sudden I was petrified and shocked and I couldn't move an said that if anyone wanted to escape in the future then they would join him in cruel. Killing a poor child younger than twelve years old. We had to think of a plan to save him. Quickly.

When we were told to go to bed, I snuck into Morgan's sleeping area and soon every child was listening.

First, we have to neutralise every guard, but how were we going to do that? Then Morgan revealed a secret that blew all of our minds. He said he watched every single guard and know where they all go and t what times. Isaac said that we should knock all of them out and then rescue the child and was a good plan but we had to figure out how to knock them out.

" Just steal some saucepans from the kitchen", said Sid.

"Nice one Si—."

We were interrupted by the loud footsteps of one of the guards. All of the little kids went back to bed and we told them that we'd tell them when we're escaping. Me,Sid,Isaac,Tom and Morgan snuck downstairs to the kitchen to get the saucepans and we found the cook lying on the floor— he was fast asleep. We all grabbed a saucepan and Sid dropped his. It woke up the cook and before we knew it Isaac hit him with his saucepan and he just fell back down. The guards had heard the loud banging noise and ran in the kitchen. There were two of them. We all hid behind the drawers and they could see us. Even though we were hidden, they knew we were there. We were in trouble—big trouble.
