Author's Notes: What can I say, I really like Jo. I've been rewatching my disks and she's just a fun character. I'm actually sorry that she won't be back for the third season.

1. The full body once-overs that she's been getting from men since she developed early at 12 have never stopped making her uncomfortable.

2. Had Dean simply hit on her the first time they met she would have brushed him off, but his aborted attempt at a pick up gave her a glimpse of real emotion underneath the bravado, and all she wanted to do was make him feel better.

3. Once, in an effort to get her to spend her afternoons on more than target practice, Ellen made her join the high school tennis team. The uniforms sucked, but she learned to love the game.

4. Her daddy was dead by the time she was seven. His death destroyed something in her mom, and there's an illegal graveyard behind the saloon where fifteen hunters who stumbled in bleeding, but never stumbled back out, are buried. She'd like to know how she was supposed to develop "half-baked romantic notions" about the Life.

5. Jo can play chess, but prefers Chinese checkers.

6. It was Ellen who taught Jo how to handle a shotgun, a .45, a knife and a broken heart.

7. The night after she abandoned her college career and came home she got roaring drunk with Ash. The night is still hazy, but somewhere in between giggling and throwing up she remembers Ash telling her about MIT, fighting, and the people who looked at him like he was trash.

8. Dean isn't the first hunter she's performed rudimentary surgery on.

9. She has a collection of very hazy memories of John Winchester. In all of them he's as strong and unmoving as the Rocky Mountains.

10. When she was a little thing, her mom used to chase away her nightmares by singing to her. Usually Cat Stevens' "Hard Headed Woman."

11. Jo's favorite book is "Dealing With Dragons" by Patricia C. Wrede. She's got a paperback copy of it shoved under the front seat of her car, and she rereads it whenever she gets homesick.

12. After Ellen told her about Ash, Jo drove out to Boston and wandered around MIT for a few days. She was trying to find all the places that Ash said he'd left "yuppie blood" on the macadam.

13. Her first solo hunt ended with 18 stitches across her belly and a blood transfusion. She bailed from the hospital earlier than the doctor would have liked, but there was a raw head two states over, and she wanted to kill it she needed to haul ass. Driving was a bitch.

14. Since hitting the road Jo has learned to live off of Ramen noodles; they're warm, they're filling, they're dirt cheap, and with the addition of a pack of Cheetos she can make a decent bowl of macaroni and cheese.

15. Jo is still bitter that "Dark Angel" only got two seasons.
