It was when Sir Sidney Ffing first arrived in France that he and Lord Darcy first witnessed the horror of the guillotine in action. Quite frankly they were appalled to see Citizen Camenbert was taking pride in what was needed a plan and quickly. They decided to go under cover and save the poor people who were to be executed right after Citizen Bidet called them up, he would strike!
A few days later Citizen Robes Piere called Camenbert and Bidet and explained how he was furious with the declining number of executions.
" This has to stop!!" he shouted,
" Yes , yes it does and it will," replied Camenbert with a self satisfied smirk on his face; he had an idea. The next time Sir Sidney tried to sabotage an execution he would be caught.
Later that day the Duke of Versilles was up to be executed. The trap was set, now all that waited was for 'Le Digit Noir', as the french called him, to appear but strangely he didn't. This confused the secret police very much. The reality was that the real Citizen Camenbert was locked in his wardrobe and at the last second before the blade hit its victim the fake Citizen Camenbert shouted "Stop release this prisioner at once,"
"But, sir, this is the most important of the lot." Shouted the trusty Citizen Bidet.
" I said stop, Mr Bidet, unless you want to be next in line," Sidney said forcefully.
" I don't care I can't let you do this." Replied Citizen Bidet.
" Guards release the Duke and seize Mr Bidet and strap him in." Sid said happily.
In a drone voice two guards replied "Yes Citizen."
The executioner, who was actually Lord Darcy, had no problem executing Citizen Bidet but, at that very moment, the guards turned and grabbed Lord Darcy and Sir Sidney. This was fun for the croud because from within the croud 'the big cheese' (or Citizen Camenbert) emerged and after a few days Sir Sidney and Lord Darcy were executed.
" Well done Camenbert I didn't think you could do it," said Robes Piere.
" Thank you sir," replied a self-satisfied Citizen Camenbert.
