They Gave All
A Poem in Tribute to Aeris and Zack

Aeris and Zack died for their friends, for their world. Now, I'm repaying them.
As I stand there looking at glory
I think about their stories,
About two so brave
Now both laying in death's grave.
About how they've been through hell
Doesn't this ring a bell?
The ones left to live with the fears
As some drink down their beers.
This nightmare is never done.
Their consciousness will never be gone.
As we sit there in the bar
These stories sink in our hearts like tar.
But we don't have to worry.
Just give them all the glory.
Be bold.
Listen to the stories that have been told.
So thank the SOLDIER and the Flower Girl for what they've done.
