This scene takes place a week after Tania and Chook's wedding and two days before the infamous 'Breakers' scene in Muriel's Wedding.
Tania Degano was meeting up with her friends Cheryl Moochmore, Janine Nuttall and Nicole Stumpf for lunch on a sunny Wednesday afternoon.
"So, I've finally arranged for us to go on our holiday to Hibiscus Island, girls." Tania said.
"I can't wait!" Janine said. "It'll be nice to get out of Porpoise Spit for a few weeks."
"What about your honeymoon with Chook?" Cheryl asked Tania.
"He wants to go to Bali." Tania replied. "So, I'll be going on our honeymoon when I come back from Hibiscus Island."
Nicole looked awkward. Unbeknownst to Tania, Nicole was secretly having an affair with Chook. They even had sex in the laundry on Tania and Chook's wedding day a week ago.
"So, what are we going to do about Muriel?" Nicole asked. "Does she HAVE to tag along with us on our Hibiscus Island holiday?!"
"Ah, yes. I've been wanting to talk to you girls about that." Tania said to them. "I think it's best that Muriel Heslop doesn't hang out with us anymore."
"Thank god for that." Cheryl said.
"She's nothing but a fat whale." Janine said, laughing.
"What Muriel needs to do is find friends on her level." Tania responded. "She's nowhere near towards our level with popularity and beautiful looks."
"Well, Tan. We've told her thousands of times how to do her hair and make-up and she NEVER listens!" Nicole said. "Plus, she never wears the right clothes!"
"Because she's too fat to wear clothes from Supre and Sportsgirl!" Janine sneered.
"Yeah, she always gets her clothes from Millers or Katie's." Cheryl remarked.
The girls started laughing as a waiter brought out their food.
"There you go, ladies."
"Thank you very much, Dominic." Tania told the waiter with a smile on her face.
"How are we going to break the news to her?" Nicole asked Tania.
"Well, this Friday night, I'm organising for us to go clubbing at Breakers." Tania replied. "I'll phone her tonight and ask her to hang out with us."
"I'm sorry, but no matter how much she changes herself, she'll still be the same boring Muriel Heslop from the Porpoise Spit High days." Janine said.
"How about we wait until we come back from Hibiscus Island and tell her." Cheryl suggested.
"I don't know." Tania said. "Look, we'll decide when Friday night approaches."
"Let's propose a toast." Nicole said.
The ladies then clinked their milkshake glasses together.
"To Muriel Heslop being kicked out of our group." they all said together.
A/N: I hope you enjoyed this one-shot of Muriel's "friends". Let me know if I should do more Muriel's Wedding one-shots.
